This is, so far, what I would describe as a rather standard monster evolution story. You have a reincarnation, a level system, and a degree of evolution. As in similar stories, you can expect a lot of battles, interaction with humans to a yet uncertain degree, and for the system to award a lot of bonuses. Is it bad because it's a "standard" story? Not at all. The direction it's going is uninteresting to me, and has a collection of minor problems, but my 3/5 rating is very close to... more>> a 4/5.

Perhaps my biggest issue with this story is that the protagonist isn't quite good enough to carry the story alone. There are other issues, such as pacing and plot points leading in a direction I don't find interesting, but a stronger protagonist as a character could prevent such concerns. He isn't a bad character, but he's also one of many Korean protagonists who have the same voice and attitude. There are many worse protagonists, and he'd be fine in a story with more dialogue, but he's not doing as much heavy lifting as he needs to for the story to really take off.

It's not bad, so I'd recommend giving it a try at least. The system isn't anything new, but it uses its parts well. The world, similarly, seems to be things we've seen before arranged in a way that might make use of the individual pieces in a more unique way. It's just the plot and the characters that so far come across as a bit weak. <<less
