Have you read "Isekai Meikyuu de Harem wo/Harem in the Labyrinth of Another World"? Whether it be the web novel or manga adaption, if you did, then you would most definitely love this.

This web novel is basically a protagonist that dreams of having a harem, and s*aves were a solution for achieving it. It's a story that gives the vibes of "slow life" as the protagonist risks his life trying to save up gold for such a dream harem. There is also a plentiful of wholesome romance, and the protagonist... more>> is pragmatic, a trait I find to be very likeable. The s*ave stuff that is in the synopsis doesn't actually happen until after two arcs or so, but there are a lot of fantastic world building to create a dark ambience for the setting and the characters that are surviving in it before then.

I would describe the premise for this story set in a city of adventurers that do dungeon diving for a living, with elements of dark fantasy and a focus on romantic development for at least

The story builds the heroines' character and personalities with romantic development, making the heroines' relationships (with not only the protagonist, but with other characters) feel alive and dynamic. The R18 portion is also really good, not too short, and not too long that leaves no room for other things. Although romance is the focus, adventure also take up a big portion of the story, with some comedy and action sprinkled here and there. <<less

Title and description are deceptive, while Sion buys a s*ave ≈40th chapter, it's more of a side development and story doesn't revolve around it.

1) it's a game world, but another Earthling, not MC, played it; 2) women throw themselves at him skipping the reason why; 3) there is a resurrection method, so while death isn't permanent, you need to retrieve relatability intact corpse for it to work, lowering stakes of failure, but not removing risk completely.
