make himself dissapear cuz he is too afraid to take responsibility

the transmigrated (lee ji seong) MC is an as*hole although in his own word he is still better than the original character and wanted the story to run as similiar as possible as the original. He went as far as dismissed a viable concern when the transmigrated MC clearly doing criminal thing or almost get one of his former student killed... like wtf?

he continued to ignore transmigrated MC red flags. We as reader saw many red flags, but even MC should saw some red flags and act accordingly.... but what did he do? Nothing! He's obssessed with keeping it as close as possible to the og story even after the heavenly emperor showed him a futre far different than he knew.... fprget about taking responsibility for changing the story, he didn't even face those changes and responsibility and tried too change it back... it's like he regressed instead of progressing as a character...
