Pretty average, till now I almost didn't find any character likable.

The ML is relatable though, he is kinda a person with social withdrawal. I like how he is not overly smitten with the MC yet still cares (till now). Like he really can ignore people, have doubts about MC reliability and get amused by MC sometimes shameless and childish behavior

Soooo annoying, god it deserves 2 stars. Really that Chinese legends stereotypes of fate and separation and love for thousands of years really is not my cup of tea and I can not understand it. Life moves on ya know ? The story could have taken a different route and become more interesting yet it regressed in the last third part greatly. Boring and Annoying

I hate that Rong Qi I didn't have any feeling about him at the beginning but then how the hell can a person think about guys and love in such situations?? That's your brother's hardest time for god's sake !!!

Accidentally pressed 5 stars but I meant to put 2. Like most transmigration cultivation face-slapping novels, it's pretty terrible. I kept waiting for the rating to make sense, but I just kept losing braincells. It is kind of funny in a slapstick sort of way, but I wish they didn't gloss over just what a terrible thing happened to the original in MC's body. And it's like the MC was lying about being homophobic and hating kids.

I'm reading chapter 404, and so far so good. The writer is humourous, and her humour is quite to my taste. I read it in one go, and it is not boring at all.

The pace is great, the flow is smooth, and the story is eventful.

The children are very adorable. Like one of the reviewer said, they're not just there to be the cannon fodders. This is very good!

MC says a bunch of really gross homophobic stuff from the get go. As this is part of his character arc I might be able to let it go if MC were interesting or compelling in any way. Instead he’s just homophobic and unlikeable. What made me stop reading is that the original owner of the MC’s body was forcefully imp**gnated against his will, but there is absolutely no sympathy for this poor original owner. People literally shame MC for being pregnant, which again, might work if only it were written better. ML, whose baby MC is carrying, doesn’t seem to give a sh*t at all that a stranger is carrying one of his children and has delivered the other. I literally felt sick. MC also has no reaction to transmigrating into a pregnant body despite being a cis man.

Characterisation is very strange, none of the characters so far are likeable or compelling in anyway. I’m 20 chapters in and we’ve seen the ML twice, and he has not interacted with the MC in any meaningful way.

Okay, so I gave this a go because of the rating but delving in deeper, like someone stated upstairs, are we really all reading the same novel?

Logic seems to be pretty much somewhat nonexistent here. Aren't there rules at all? Because the novels I've read about transmigrating into the past, there always were? Here? How come there is a rule on dining etiquette between master and servant but no rules seemingly on other stuff like I dunno--- the school? It's like every cannon fodder has some mental disease or something... more>> and they are an exaggeration of s*upidity if anything else.

Logic? Bruh, like seriously, what is that? --- Is what I think the novel portrays. Plot holes? Explanations? Oh! You know what, go and figure it out yourself by the way, is that it? No BS, I think I lost a lot of braincells reading this. <<less

I'm not sure that this is not just comedy show, because it's not serious and clumsy. I'm not against hilarious story, but as far as I know fun not major in this story. In addition I'm not laughed.

This is many cultivation stuff like manufacturing magic sword or enchantment items. Many info about cultivation levels. If you like this it's cool but illogical acts characters really annoying me.

MC is have many knowledge and too strong abilities (I consider it's like golden finger, because his cultivation root special and he can... more>> develop more quickly than other) Strong person, but he is ridiculous and confronts own opinions.

Quote: MC most hate children, gays, losers and sissies. This was said in first chapter. So he almost at once moment began behave like gay and I don't see how he hate children. (Specially I didn't announce I hate children, but I really won't close with them anyway, because I just haven't love for them.) But he (hate children) already love his children after little few days.

ML is can't say a few words. He isn't cold, either indifferent for all people. (No impression) He is have good impression about MC that's all. He is boring.

By the way their servants really irritating, they're know about personal life?

This is definitely a story I will reread over and over again. I personally loved the writing; it was easy to understand, comedic, and had a fresh vibe without boring you out. The author literally threw MC into everything he hated (Gays, children, Plus, he transmigrated into the body of a pregnant man) but as the story progresses, he learns to accept it and partially lets go of his judgmental attitude, becoming a caring parent to his children. I found him quite unique, and his inner thoughts were peak comedy.... more>> The ML is a cold beauty. MC thought if he clung to ML, the man could help send him back to the modern world, so he constantly pestered him, calling him "daddy" instead of his actual name to catch ML's attention.

Even though MC carried ML's kids, it doesn't mean they will instantly fall in love with each other.

At first, it seemed like MC was using ML, and ML was only interested in MC's talents. However, as the story progresses, their love really goes beyond that. It's a slow burn; you just have to be patient.

After their separation and MC goes back to the modern world, he meets someone with the same handsome face as ML but decides to chase after a dying old man. He loves ML for who he is, not how he looks. The old man was the real ML, but with no memories of the past they shared. Despite that, he fell in love with MC again. The two really complement each other so well. It was so cute when ML was conscious of his looks because he was now an old man and MC was still young, but MC proved to him that his love was beyond that.

The children were the treasures of the story. I love these cuties so much. This was one of the rare stories that actually gave the children decent screen time. The children made the story 10 times better. They were so cheeky and loved their "mom-daddy, " aka MC. The children accompanied MC from the beginning of the story to the very end. They stirred up so much trouble for the enemies, LOL. Don't underestimate these kids! Loved that we even see them grown up in the extras.

MC has biological twins and two adopted sons (one zombie, one demon) that are even older than his ancestors, LOL.

The plot was really intriguing, towards the middle and end of the story was where it really got serious, major character deaths. Although everything gets resolved by the end, the suffering inflicted on both ML and MC will never be forgotten.

After the villain killed their biological kids, MC got transported back to the modern world against his will. ML spent thousands of years alone without MC or his kids. But he kept cultivating and eventually became an immortal. The timeline progresses all the way to the modern world. Heaven sends ML back to the mortal world to kill the villain, and only then could he come back to earth and reunite with MC again in the modern world. The worlds are connected, just in different timelines. Don't worry about the kids; they come back in a very interesting way.

Yin Tao got together with Jiang Mu. Yin Sensen got together with Yao'er. The brothers they end up with are not blood related. But I was still very surprised that they just ended up with each other. They all had a very close bond as kids, and demons age differently. Their romance starts when the they all enter college together.

Everyone got together with each other in the end. The enemies got what they deserved big time. Overall, a very satisfying and happy story. If you're not easily triggered by the olden-day mindset and love a chaotic, close-knit family, you will surely enjoy this story. <<less

I can't believe it, everyone, EveryOne, is too rude when they talk or deal with MC, even his servants not that respectful towards him!

And Even one of them who was hired to teach MC son, was bluntly corsing, insulting MC non-stop openly and in front of everyone, even teach the son how to cors and insult his father in front everyone, and everyone see this as a normal thing.

But he will go around teach them all his mighty skills! He know, and can see, how everyone here in this world,... more>> and even in his original world, would protect their secret skill, but he came here and goes around teaching those who look down on him, who insulted him, who scolded him, how to do things they never ever thought they will be able to do it! Look, he won't do it to stand them or surprise them, like it happen in other novels, here he will TEACH them how to do it! While they still look down on him while learn from him!

Most comments I read in NU always have someone to criticize. I guess you get use to most novels where the ML always protect and defend the MC but in those novel's comment section they criticize how useless the MC became because the ML does everything for him. Here, the ML didn't do anything (but does he need to? Isn't MC's action voluntary?) And still get criticized. Maybe the author wants the Mac to stand on his own because in real life you shouldn't or usually can't depend on others... more>> to make your life better.

Ok, I love OP protagonists, even if it is Mary Sue levels. Now, I let the MC's homophobic & transphobic behavior slide because, if I may reiterate, I f*cking love OP protagonists. And, with OP protagonists, there will be a lot of face slapping scenarios sprinkled here and there. BUT! BUT, 229 chapters in, I AM JUST NOT f*ckING SATISFIED. The only redeeming quality (for me, idk about others) of the novel is the supposed face-slapping but somehow it just doesn't hit. It leaves you frustrated because the point of... more>> face slapping novels is to be frustrated and then be f*cking relieved after the revenge. BUT IN THIS NOVEL, NO. You think, at least in the middle of the story, some of the minor or even major villains will get eliminated, BUT again, 229 chapters in, everyone still f*cking disrespects MC.

Anyway, this is my biggest issue, so far, in this novel. As mentioned by others, there are glaring issues in this novel, especially the MC's behavior. There are no characters that are likeable, the kids are there just for decoration. Main lead, f*cking useless, but I guess the most realistic character lmao. Some of the reviews here mentioned that he doesn't do anything, and yea he actually doesn't do anything because he's so deferential to family ties/master-disciple relationships.

I'm liking this,

Well yes, the MC didn't like that sissy character but maybe he dislike that because his brother is a fool, romantic and a crybaby to the point he loose his patience (it doesn't have to be gay to have these kind of personality). Thus he sees this kind of person a hopeless and feels kinda annoyed but not entirely hates them, y know. I liked it!

I had an emotional roller coaster reading this novel.

Well at first I didn't like the beginning it was annoying plus the bad translation. So, I had to be patient because I like transmigration and long chapters novels!

... more>> I gave it a chance and then around 100 plus something the plot starting to attract my attention more.

I liked the MC Rong Yi and MC's four sons! MC's disciple and of course tsun tsun Qi Lan (he was annoying at first I cursed him many times but I ended up grew fond of him)

Oh I didn't like the ML character Yin Jinye! "Rolls eyes"

Face-slapping and revenge moments were satisfying. <<less

I persevered because I love the MC. I loved he’s development. BUT I TOTALLY HATE THE ML WTF I COULD NOT GO ON BECAUSE HE IS SO USELESS. He let’s everyone bully MC, and have been so passive about it that it pissed me off to the point that I wrote my first ever review in this server. MC has never had a peaceful life ever since he transmigrated and the ML has never done anything to help the MC and address the issue. I’m tired of waiting.

Character development should never be overlooked by any reader. Judging a novel just after reading few chapters will give you lots of bigotry and unprecedented biases. (INSERT: I finished reading the novel in SCRIBD for Flying Lines truly got on my nerves. XD) Trust me, this story is far from what the reviews are babbling about. The start is a tad weird, but bear it a little and see if you are interested enough to reach the end of free translated chapters. If you reached this mark, I guarantee to you that it only gets better. The story is really good and has an amazing character progression. Really worth the time spent on this.

I like the story. All the things he hated became him and happen to him. I saw how the characters develop in the story. The unfeeling ML due to his cultivation thing, the MC's hate towards gay and children, how their relationship actually develop (not like I saw you, you saw me, we like each other let's date and roll in the sheets kinda thing)

From the comprehension era to the modern era, the switch between two worlds because the MC went back to his original era before going back... more>> to the comprehension era and how they reunited to the modern era. This is the first novel I've read that they reunited in the modern world. I like how they ended the story but I don't like the extra chapters. I want them to continue being brothers and nothing else.

The story is sweet between them, it is funny and it doesn't have any complicated political position grabbing drama. I would just want to know how the space gap that sucks people and send them to different time and era originally happen. Because based on the story, it happen a long time ago but the auther didn't explain how it started.

Higly recommend to read this and up to you to read the extra chapters but for me it is unnecessary. <<less

Well... about this novel, I read it a long time ago, I really don't remember some details clearly, but what I remember is the enormous dissatisfaction I felt while reading it.

Anyway, today I decided to remove this story from my reading list because every time I tried to continue, it was torture.

I also have something to say, even though I don't remember some details clearly, I looked at some reviews to see if I was crazy for not liking it, until I saw @Wolvelyn's comment, that every word them said... more>> made my mind clearer, meaning I completely agree with them.

Still, since I don't remember clearly, I'll give it 2 stars, but I believe it should deserve only 1.

It's my favorite novel. Loved how the MC is straight at the start of the novel then turns gay for the ML in the latter part of the novel. It's unlike the once I've read before. Author Jin Yuanbao have lots of other novels that are also good like the first zombie wife.

I've been rereading this novel and found what I thought a complete link of the series. But it was actually only till chap 412. Anyone know where I can read this?

Not bad, tbh. But the quality is not as good as the author’s other works. The tone of the novel is very light and humorous. So as long as you don’t take it too seriously, you should be fine! My expectations were a bit too high T.T so I ended up being disappointed. Next time, I just have to make sure not to get to hung up on the details. Things are a bit unrealistic and over-the-top.

As for the main premise... The MC is from a modern world with cultivation.... more>> He transmigrated all of a sudden after seeing someone’s photograph, and when he came to, he found himself pregnant with twins (one of whom was born prematurely) and the baby-daddy on the way. The focus seems to be on the plot more than the worldbuilding, so don’t expect anything too detailed when it comes to crafting or alchemy (which is a shame!). What the MC wants most is to go back to his time (since he has people to come back to), but he starts to slowly become a part of this new world in the process.

Wont leave a rating for now since I didn’t get far! My preliminary rating is around 3stars out of 5. <<less
