The MC gets reincarnated into a game world as a totally unknown and seemingly insignificant character. He decides that the main plot will resolve itself and he just has to live his own life without getting involved. But then he suddenly finds out that he is in the "Yuri mode" of the game (the Prince being a princess) and a very important character is missing (the one making it possible for the Princess and the Saintess to get together). He decides to somehow take up the role of the matchmaker... more>> and enter the Academy in order to save the world; but he ends up getting involved with the main heroines even before he gets there...

Let's be honest, the author didn't put much thougths into the setting. I can't even begin to understand what kind of game it was supposed to be before the MC was sent to this world. At first, the MC says he was the only one to find a happy ending in the game, but a short while later he says that the "yuri mode" is the hardest mode (meaning there are reachable happy endings for evey scenari, no?) ; and later, he seems to imply that if the two main characters end up together the world will reach a happy ending, and a matchmaker character seems to be enough in the yuri scenario to have them reach that ending... so where's the difficulty? And what's the actual plot of this game? It doesn't make much sense...

Also, the "weak to strong" tag might be a bit misleading here... As a matter of fact, the MC's potential is the highest from the beginning, it's just that, since his system is a mess, only giving him titles like "amazing villager" (which is funny), he thinks he is a total mob character (Villager A) ; but he almost instantly becomes very strong after training a little.

In fact, that's actually the trigger behind his early meeting with the heroines. Seeing his potential, his sword master calls for the Saintess (an old aquaintance of his) in order to teach him magic. She's immediately impressed with his potential. Then the Princess learns about the Saintess entering the Empire illegaly to teach someone and goes there to see for herself. That's how she ends up meeting the MC too.

Let's say this makes some sense but, still, them almost instantly developing feelings for him and starting to live with his family is definitely a forced development. The author clearly didn't want to spend too much time developing the relationships, so he simply describes the two heroines as extremely unapproachable people starved for friendship, then the MC instantly makes them obsessed with him just by treating them normally...

Anyway, you get my point, this story so far is quite messy and it's hard to know where the author is going with this...

For me, the only interesting part right now is that the MC believes the two heroines will naturally end up together if he properly does his part as a matchmaker (otherwise the world will be destroyed), so he doesn't think much of his relationship with them. He sees them as friends but doesn't mind disappearing once everything is back on track (at least at first). It would actually be quite funny if they did end up together... but, it's like he believes that just waiting around and preventing conflicts is enough for them to end up together, so it's very unlikely to happen. <<less

Yes the female leads do fall really quickly and the MC is blatantly OP and doesn't seem to realize it but to me that's not really a problem? The thing that makes this a 5 star for me is really simple. I came here for romance and it's a GOOD harem and romance so far. The girls involved actually genuinely care and relate to one another aside from the MC this is by design given the original game it takes place it but every character in a harem having chemistry... more>> and a good relationship despite bickering is so refreshing. <<less

It's meh.

It's a slow burn story. The main plot is to mend the princess' and saintess' relationship, but MC is only a villager. However, everything just falls into place because the author says so. How will a villager be able to met the saintess? Well, because the village butcher happens to party with the saintess before and is MC's sword master... okay... But surely meeting the princess will be harder. Nope, princess will visit them at MC's village home. Okay...? But surely the saintess and princess who supposedly won't get... more>> along will be difficult for MC to befriend right? Nope, saintess and princess instantly drop formality and already has a good impression of MC for doing nothing.

The comedy is weak too. There's just not much hook to continue reading.

It feels like a stereotypical harem anime; where MC is easily liked by female leads. <<less
