I'm the translator, so of course I'm biased, but this is a sweet, fluffy little novel! It's not that deep, but sometimes you just want to read some fluff. MC is deliberately acting cute and pitiful to try and seduce ML, but MC is much more capable than he first appears. ML is very quickly smitten as well, and they have a cute (hot) romance. MC's acting career goes relatively smoothly, although his family life, specifically his relationship with his mother, is pretty bad. Eh.... It was fine. Nothing great, to be honest. The author tried hard to make fun of existing tropes but forgot that they were using the existing overused tropes too. The characterisation of the MC felt very weird. On one hand it's impossible for somebody to act like that and not be brain-dead, so the fact that he was pretending didn't come as a surprise. On the other hand, the people around him who loved him seemed pretty brain dead too.

The ML was so two dimensional he was basically a... more>> piece of paper. He existed to coddle MC, glare at everybody with jealousy, coddle MC, beat people up, coddle the MC, do his black bellied ceo things, coddle the MC.... Well you get the idea. ML did not have any personality of his own. The people around him must be living a nightmare, especially his assistant.

The chapters were pretty short, the plot was so and so.... Nothing new, the side characters only felt like they lived to make the MC feel coddled. The most well written character was ironically, Mrs Lin, MC's mother. She's an antagonist but

I kinda liked her character. Of course, she's not a good person, quite the contrary, but she's somewhat well fleshed out. She was trafficked when she was young and had to seduce her kidnapper to escape the fate of being sold to an even worse place. Then she managed to escape by setting fire to the house her kidnapper and she were living in and met her current husband, which is when she found she was pregnant with the MC. What she did next was obviously not something good or excusable, but she's an antagonist, what did you expect? She's very selfish and cruel, doesn't see her children as somebody dear to her, only wants money and a rich life, but she's also the only person in the entire story who didn't make me want to puke. It's ironic, considering her actions.

It's not exactly a bad story, it's just purely brainless. It's well translated (by peach pits, you need to fill the form on their website to get the password to the protected chapters. Its complete), which is why I'm giving it 3 stars. Plot, character and progression wise, it just doesn't reach beyond 2 stars. <<less

Starts out very fluffy and cute. The MC is adorable, the ML is your typical ML, cold to everyone except MC.

Then the MC's dad arc appeared and suddenly I got slapped by a major plot hole. The new character at that part is braindead and they dont make sense. Everything suddenly doesnt make sense, even after the arc ended. Its like the author is trying to make some heavy plot and back story. But ended up messy.

First half of the story rated 4/5 (not much plot but very cute)

This was pretty good until the MC' bio family arc happened. After that it went downhill and I lost interest. It went from 0 - 60 with the bio family and resolved almost as quickly as it started.

They just ended up buying the MC's half brother from his mom but they don't become the main caretakers. The butler is. They just leave the kid for him to raise.

It's not the worst book but I can't make myself finish it either. If you're really bored, go for it.

Cute MC and doting ML. Overall the plot and storyline is quite good although there are a few redundant parts hahaha. But stillll if you're looking for a short mostly fluff with a little angst novel then this is for you.

MC who has heavy rose filters toward ML. Everything ML do is Good (for a comedic purpose, poor ML's lil bro. Lol)

ML himself is already so Very Good to MC from the start. Gentle and Caring. And would destroy anyone who hurt or try to harm MC! But no Overbearing. He is truly a Caring Loving Husband!

This is not the kind of story where the MC with sad past, would be kind and be friend everyone he meet. He's not! To certain characters aka senior actors age not too... more>> far to him, he's polite and can be friend because they're good to him and things [no spoilers].

But to other celebrities, he chose to distance himself. Not cold, somewhat friendly, but with a 'Wall'. It's somewhat refreshing to me?

Anyway the Romance just full of Lovely Sweetness.

While it's no dog blood... Maybe... Like I said before, MC has Sad Past. And then there's the hidden mystery. And also MC's Neglectful 'family'. So I do wonder how the author would write the rest of the story.

Anyway so far I love and enjoying the story. I hope it has satisfying ending! 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

The author did great till the end.

There's drama but not unnecessary one. MC's background explored. He get Trauma, but not played dramatically but very reasonably. No Dog Blood still. Thank god.

The Side CP also not drama free. But also not played with unnecessary drama either. So thank god!

And the extras aka the School time of the side CP is so cute!!!

So till the end of the story, this novel has Satisfactory ending for me. I'm Absolutely Pleased! And Absolutely Loving it! (๑•ᴗ•๑) ♡

It's sure is not a Perfect novel. But the characters still Lovable and the story pretty Enjoyable till the end. Love it! <<less
