The MC of this novel suffers from a modern politician problem - speaking great things, expecting obedience, ruthless against opposition yet weak against his equal or the strong. If the author is setting up pride as the one biggest flaw, they're succeeding - to the character's own detriment and every single person under his command.

An interesting story about life after the "Hero" defeats the Demon King.

The MC is a transmigrator/possessor who was sent into a game that he enjoyed playing previously. He was interested in alternative clear routes, like raising characters as Bards or Shamans to defeat the demon king. So he wasn't a lore nerd or a stagnant water like some other game possession novels.

MC enters the game as the Emperor of the strongest human kingdom, before the hero went off on his journey to kill the demon king. He decided to support... more>> the hero with nearly anything the hero could need, and made the choice to become the hero's friend. He decided he didn't want to go the route of killing the hero or betraying them after they killed the demon king. Heck, he was even the one who set the hero up in a harem party, as he had played the role of the hero in his past life, so he had some affection for him already.

OK, enough about that part. MC is not weak, but already a bit below the peak of strength as a mage when the story starts.

MC is competent and cautious, but tends to focus more on the macro than the micro. Rather prideful, but with the strength and resources to back it up.

Story is marked as harem, and we've seen a few candidates, but MC isn't currently looking for romance. He has no interest in the Hero's women either, so it won't be a netori story. Up to this point, it's been romance free, and us getting an idea how people see the MC (some are really scared of him, including his younger sister), and the MC playing Sims on his empire basically. Looking forward to more.

After reading so many fantasy korean novels I thought this would be where MC would show off his skills and gather a harem with no world building but this broke my expectations like another review said there is no romance at all till now and even though I like romance fantasy novels this one I wish it would continue without romance because it suits the MC perfectly he is prideful and never wishes to bow his head like a true emperor although the political aspects may be a bit lacking... more>> other than that this novel is worthy enough to be added in daily reading list and also some chapters will have no foreshadowing of alternate line world or backstory so watch out for that <<less
