Probably not gonna continue much further, as I got the same impressions from the first 2 reviews just from 3 chapters. I just wanna say that b**baSword you're actually a moron. A review is literally just the reader sharing their thoughts and opinions on any given book. That's exactly what the first 2 reviews did. Just because they expressed opinions that YOU don't like doesn't detract from their legitimacy as reviews. Or what, is a review to you just copy/pasting the synopsis? Or maybe you believe that only those who... more>> mindlessly spew positivity makes a review. Seriously, get off your high horse you jerk. <<less

Starts off a bit interesting if you like forced romance novels like me, but completely trails off quickly. Unlike a lot of other novels where MC transmigrated into worthless extra that's engaged to outstanding heroine, this time she's considered to have a terrible reputation while his is decent.

The main problem is that both of the leads personalities and goals that are told to us at the beginning are a complete lie and makes them both extremely unlikable as the story unfolds.

It feels like the author really wanted an MC that... more>> spouts edgy stuff like "You can't trust humans, I will live by myself and for myself!". Only to have the exact opposite approach in everything.

MC says he's someone with no experience with woman and doesn't want to get closer to her since it's already in the plot that she will leave him for the protagonist. Yet everything he does is to get closer to her, and give her the wrong idea. It's not even on the level of silly misunderstandings, he's just straight up flirting with her the entire time (bro didn't you say you had no experience with woman??). He uses the excuse of needing to deceive their parents, but it never actually feels necessary from the way the parents are acting and only causes him problems by making her and the parents think he's madly in love with her. Honestly if his mindset was to seduce her in order to steal her from the protagonist this would make a lot more sense. It's not however, he 'claims' to just wait for her to leave him so he can be free to do what he wants.

As for the heroine, MC knows the plot so he tells us she's actually a very kind person that wants to train in magic (which she's not allowed to) so she puts on an appearance of being a drunk and a gambler to make money for running away (it's very unclear how she even does this, we're never told if she's any good at gambling. So the whole thing sounds quite farfetched). In addition to her method seeming silly, she never seems like such a kind person at all... If anything she's just extremely rude. All we get is 'in her fake drinking and gambling she's never hurt anybody' well no sh*t!! What a great person she must be you clown😂

(never mind that it's hurting her parents who while strict, seem like really decent parents by aristocrat LN standers and genuinely care for her).

Also, in the original story she literally leaves her fiance (MCs character) after meeting the protagonist. It's not even excused by MCs character being a villain or her already being in love with the protagonist (she hasn't even met him yet...). MCs character is just an average guy from a lower ranked family that was forced to marry her since no one would, yet she leaves him. Screwing him and her family over... Is she such a good person in the original novel??😂

Finally the translation is quite bad with genders often miss translated making it extremely confusing who's talking between the two characters. <<less

I wanted to give this a chance but I can't get past the korean MC.

"... Sion bursts out laughing and thinks about life in the modern world.

He had never dated a woman, let alone married one.

... more>> He never talked to women, and when he did, he treated them as strangers.

He lived his life alone, trusted no one, and experienced endless examples of human malice..."

Personally I think he is a loser and that isn't the cool backstory author think it is. But some people might disagree and are into that kinda protagonist, so enjoy. <<less

What a cute novel. MC is ignorantly flirting with the FL every damn chapter and she's going down easier than the French in WW2. I might have diabetes from the slow and steady streams of sugar. Plus it isnt cringy like JP romcoms.

The main story is pretty much being transmigrated into a novel where there's fights with demons and what not with the MC being and extra who is engaged to the main heroine. The story focuses on the romance between the MC and FL and not the fights with... more>> the demons yet. There is alot of dialogue and interactions instead of action incase people were wonder what type of novel it is.

So our MC has the vibes of a typical "human society is full of malice so I am going to enjoy life alone" but that is just a facade. One look at the FL and he finds her cute af and supports her at every turn. He's a silent-type who genuinely hopes to get on well with the FL and doesn't hesitate to defend her.

He also didn't mind exposing his sword skills whev she was put in danger. Initially he meant to collect some good sword for his defence but then he tries to improve himself for protecting the FL. He's kind of like "I'll protect her until she joins the protagonist's group" but all that does is getting her attracted to him. He also does catch feeling for her way early but he doesn't go out of his way and act possessive.

The FL is a typical caged bird type of heroine kind of in a rebellion phase but some of her activities have (wrongfully) attached bad rumors to her. She pretty much goes drinking to have fun and gambling to buy resources for her to learn magic but hides it since she's restricted from doing so.

Initially she was planning to treat the MC abit rudely so that he doesn't get attached to her and ends up breaking the engagement. This is to keep him from being dragged down with her but the MC, knowing her true nature and kindness, responds to her taunts well leaving her puzzled. This starts on them having a shaky relationship but later it allows them to converse and get along well, She repeatedly tries to distance herself from the MC but him being protective and caring of her kind of helps her out of her lonliness and gets her attached to him.

Overall this is a rare fun novel in a time when other novels are pretty much of the 'obession', 'yandere' or 'harem' category. <<less

I don't really do rating or leave review (Just another silent reader) but I thought I should for this translator bc I think lot of people are being quite unreasonable to him/her.

First. Its a slow romance, who are engaged to together against their will but as they live together. They become conscious of each other and develop feelings but deny bc of their circumstances.

Very lovely novel, something we don't get many these days. It's like 'I Became the Fiancé of a Dragon in Romance Fantasy' but no 18+ scenes.

MC says he don't have experience and has no intention of forming relationship with her but his every action is like Flirt to make girls fall for him. I think author messed up that part but apart from that I can't find any negative thing about this novel.

While this is not important but expect OnePunchMan12 review, all of them are just their own opinion not review for this novel. Do you not understand what "REVIEW" means?

Sign. Anyway. Translation is good expect for beginning chapters sometimes mistaking him for her and like, but I've seen complete garbage translation in NU, there are almost unreadable. For ex. How To Live As A Writer In A Fantasy World.

It's previous translation is tr*sh and yet I see no one tr*shing. Don't believe in these tr*sh review not even mine. Read yourself before you judge. Adios..! <<less

At some point in life you realise that life is too short to waste it on reading a bad novel.

And this novel is a waste of time kr novels are already known for their bad endings and most of them being too edgy bordering the cringe territory I already confirmed that this protagonist is too edgy for my liking and I am not going to bother to confirm if the ending is sh*ty too plus the the title was a f*cking lie FL is just pretending to be crazy so... more>> the whole thing that attracted me in the first place is a lie. <<less

MC just like me FR. Literally they get me so hard I understand what Okyeye is talking about literally me. MC is no simp but they look quiet and loner protagonist when secretly they are OP (well not strength OP but mind OP) they have that mental tenacity literally 5* just for the MC alone. Heroine kinda mid literally cringe tsundere that you see in every novel troup anyways if you cant relate to MC you may not like this MC that much.

A break from transmigrating into a harem + death flags. It has a slower pace and more consideration on fleshing out the main characters than simply trying to save the world.

This has a very wholesome relationship budding between the MC and heroine. Its a slow burn type romance that is characterized by their forced engagement circumstance. Sticking around to see what happens with them and the waves they create.

It’s an ok novel, doesn’t really live up to its name ever which was pretty unfortunate.

Just about everything this novel does, Ending Maker does better imo.

I think the author tried to focus too much on a small cadre of characters without ever building the world or stakes out enough, resulting in lackluster reader attachment and understanding of the motivating factors in the world.

Love this type of MC remove the Romance and it's all good tbh this MC seem unique to me, outside he looks kind and gentleman but inside he planned something HE IS JUST LIKE ME FR hopefully he gonna have the power up soon the demon sword thing and slay the cringe fiance of him that B is annoying as heck only 10chapters rn can't say anything

Quite interesting to read...

BUT.. the TL sometimes confusing and which character talking sometimes blur, and also is the king a KING or EMPRESS? cause in the TL the king is a lady.

Also the author really lacking on character introduction, usually I am feeling annoyed by overly introduced side character or extras but in this one the important or connected characters like the MC or the female lead siblings are not properly introduced.

I really enjoyed this, it's not super rushed and the story progresses nicely. The characters develop and are unique which is nice to see. It does have a misunderstandings cliché that does get old, but for the most part it's a nice read.

Honestly, this is just your usual shoujo romance with a sloppy fantasy action slapped into it. There's no tension through out the entire novel because all the villains are just plot devices to cultivate the romance between the MC and female lead.

There are 3 artificial swords who are actually made to counter the swords of our protagonist and his crew but it was just resolved like it was nothing. Heck, the final boss didn't even last a chapter and he even died without even getting to say something lol

A lot of characters are not fleshed out. You would think that the sword users of ice, lightning, and wind are important characters right? Well, you can count their lines in your hand.

Although the fantasy action part is tr*sh, the romance is satisfying. I'll give it that one. You just need to curb your expectations. Expect the major bulk of the novel to be about bickering between our MC and female lead and some edgy I'm gonna sacrifice my life for you lines.

Also, I have mixed feelings about the epilogue. I want to discourage people to read it because it further ruins the novel.

This novel is well written so far. There is a decent flow of information and the novel moves along at a decent pace. Sometimes info dumps through protagonists internal monologues but nothing horrible and I would say they are necessary for the reader to understand his actions. My main issue is there seems to be no real issues for the MC to deal with. Everything is working out for him except for being short of money at an auction. The way it is written I do not feel like there... more>> will be any meaningful difficult decisions where he will have to choose between and bad decision and a worse decision. Everything will work out is the vibe I am getting. <<less

My main issue with this novel is the MC. He is too self serving to the point where he'll give up his life or his title for others. If something happens to fMC, our MC will think of dying with the enemy. The author thinks that living as a criminal for the rest of your life for the sake of peace is logical.
