tl;dr Don't waste your time.

The novel's development is below middling. The MC is boring, the female lead is boring, everyone else is also boring. It reads like one of those textbook that you need to cram before an exam.

MC's a hunter transmigrated into a female protagonist medieval oriented story. The author of that female MC's story pretty much made all the noble males around her (except MC's dad) to be either incompetent or complete personality tr*sh. On top of that, it went into a yuri direction. MC rightly criticized the... more>> development of the story, because it is bad.

However, the MC himself is hilariously casting a self-fulfilling prophecy of the same degree. MC attracts all the females because he becomes hyper-competent. His swordsmanship and mana cultivation method as a hunter bested the people he meets in the story, easily.

But quite frankly even with all the godly OP stuff, it can still be a good read. MC of "The Eminence in the shadow" is an example of s*upidly OP MC with an equally s*upid personality that turns out to be entertaining. Even the skill name is the funniest thing ever (I am Taepodong, later changed to I am atomic).

This novel however...... Can only be said to be filled with a cast of cardboard personalities. There's no meaningful character development and the entire plot development is underwhelming. Is MC really a hunter from Korea who reads KR novels as a pastime? He feels more like someone who lived in that medieval world since his birth. No snarky remarks to the medieval citizens, no KR trope of I miss the damned toilet flushes, no korea I want to eat kimchi. Nothing.

2.2 stars. It doesn't even work even if you're reading a KR-EU medieval novel for the first time. <<less

Honestly, I'm disappointed. It's ok. Nothing horrid or excellent about it. A lot of what you'd usually expect. That said, the only proper romance that had begun to develop is undercut ... more>>
Spoiler

when the MC casually cheats on his fiance, who he very recently made love to for the first time, by having s*x with another woman he's known for like a few days while he is out on a mission

. The story was just good enough to binge as a past-time and all it needed was one excuse to stop reading it. For me, this was it. <<less
