I honestly like the story, how we have a SI with legitimate hurdles to cross and developing side characters who aren't cut outs. For now I'll have to wait for more chaps to be translated before going more in depth. Just know its a unique spin on the isekai genre and a very rare korean fic that isn't about necromancers, s*upid towers or the generic plot where everyone devolves in bubbling idiots. So far its doing a great job sticking out amongst the tr*sh that plagues the KN fandom.

One of the things I liked the most is the characters, they are pretty distinguised from each other, especially when it comes to the members of the circus. I think the author did a really great job when making them. Their future development is also very promising.

His biomancer powers are cool to see, even if they are not as powerful as they could be at first. Also the MC's past before transmigration actually matters. At this point in time, the game-Wonderstein already did very bad villain things, so he can't entirely turn over a new leaf even if he only acts good from now, HOWEVER- don't get me wrong, the current-Wonderstein is mostly a good person, it's just that his past might come to get him at any moment. Plus there are a lot of misunderstandings about him being super good or super bad that varies from character to character. Misunderstanding lovers, this is a feast to us.

Now to the "bad thing"... my only problem is that the girls seem to have... love for him? They constantly blush and question their feelings in a weird kind of way. Yet Wonderstein hasn't show any interest in romance (at least for now). Honestly, I think the way the author handled Varsong's love for him is very refreshing so there are high hopes. It still makes me afraid, as I think some novels traumatized me, a simple human who loves family-bounds instead of romance.

But that's it! Overall, this novel has too many things I enjoy. I recommend it to anyone who has their interest peaked.

This is a pretty good LN to read, a crucial point for me is the POV of the characters (including the protagonist) and how the story unfolds, and it has been done very well till the chapter I'm now, in particular the characters development.

For the first 130 chapters or so, I'd say it's worth 5 stars. You got a possesor with a creepy power, lots of tragedies caused in the past by the original Wonderstein and a cast of characters with various traumas caused by him. MC struggles to get close to the circus troupe and various other important characters while solving different problems from the original story.

Once we get to the academy arc, however, the writing takes a SHARP dive. The plot gets utterly nonsensical, side characters become your average two dimensional... more>> harem members in a shounen manga and even the various confrontations feel like some kindergarten bs.

This novel is very interesting. Theres a lot to cover but as one of its main strengths are its mysteries, I'll try to keep it spoiler free.

The coolest one so far has been the spies and informants contracted with a certain deity of rumours who has the ability to self delete their name to temporarily return their existence into the sea of information, only to recover to existence by having their names be called by a trusted person.

The abilities are used cleverly and with much creativity and the plot is full of intrigue and politics. Plus, the novel is educational in regards to the entertainment industry and the history of the circus and even operas, and the relationship of street performers and businessmen.

Theres also a lot of modern day societal issues being discussed a lot of whats happening on earth continues to be relevant in this world due to certain reasons in a later arc.

One of the most unique premises that involves actual circus elements that are more fun to read than I admit. Really good novel, first 30 chapters are cliche af (and the translation is kinda bad but not unreadable), then the Circus Grand Prix start and it became a really enjoyable read (also the translation improve). The world building is beautiful, mixing industrial revolution with fantasy, with each country having its own culture and the six preliminary tests represent it perfectly.

The world setting is interesting, with multiples worlds and demond gods being able to travel between them, each bestowing unique skills and having their own paradise for their belivers.

And finilly the circus, honestly this is my favorite part of the novel, it feels like watching a spokon. The monster circus being the underdog slowly gaining fame and skill until they are finilly able to compete with the best circuses in the industry.

The harem aspect is the most subjective, since it have misunderstandings and I know that a lot of people dislike that, I personaly find it amusing, the author is a bit freaky tho, so the +18 chapters are going to be a little uncomfortable for some people. +18 chapters start near chap 200 and there isn't a lot of them, if you're worried that it's the type of novel that use the plot as an excuse to only have +18 chapters. <<less
