Novels Dynasty's translation doesn't have any of the usual glaring errors - it's consistent with naming, tense, and in always being first-person with Tiamat as the narrator or third person when looking from other characters' points of view. No, the problem with it is that it gets confused about what chapter it's in. I read the same chapter three times in a row with only the final scene being different. And I can tell... more>> that somewhere in there, they've overwritten the actual translation of what those chapters were meant to be with that repetition, because all of a sudden there's another villain who's just been mentioned for the first time, and we're already at the end of the fight scene, having defeated him off-screen.

Just... I don't understand how that could happen. Pure MTL copied text wouldn't have that problem. It's high enough quality that I think it's human-edited MTL (because pure human translation generally has TL notes) and if so, the human part of that should've caught this issue.

Now, if you'll excuse me, I want to know what I missed, so I'm going to Novelpia and MTLing the missing chapters myself. <<less
