Li Shaoxi woke up and learned that his family had a debt of 80 million yuan.

80 million! Where could he get so much money?

Li Shaoxi was feeling desperate when he heard a cold voice. “If you survive for three days, you can take away anything you can carry with you from the game.”

“The countdown begins. 3, 2…”

What the? He didn’t say he wanted to join… eh? The first game was actually Treasure Miner? Wasn’t this the single player mini-game with big treasures that manipulated a lousy old man with a blatant perspective cheat?

What did that voice say? Could he bring the rubies, sapphires, big gold nuggets and small gold bricks in the game back to reality?

My god! The poor, crying Young Master Li instantly stood up!

Later, Li Shaoxi found that his thoughts were too small. Out of the countless players all over the world who were involved in the game, only he could bring things back to reality.

Wasn’t it just making 80 million? The bigshots who were waiting to be fed spontaneously started bidding.

“I will give you 10 million for this skill book!”

“50 million!”

“100 million!”

Li Shaoxi was stunned and swallowed down the unspoken words, ‘Um, I have 100 copies of this skill book…’

Was 100 million serious? What bigshots!

The even more outrageous thing was:

He brought back a top chef from a food game.

He brought back a city from an infrastructure game.

He brought back a boyfriend from a dating game.

Jian Yue, who was brought out: “You like me…”

Li Shaoxi exclaimed, “Don’t take the words in the game seriously…”

It was over. He had provoked a bigshot who shouldn’t be provoked. Was it too late to run away now?

It's rare for an unlimited flow to have such a coherent plot. Mind you, the plot is a bit cringe at times, especially with the sudden shift in focus (from a desperate survival game to a love game filled with dogblooded shura-field romance -- seriously, at the end, I could barely keep a straight face knowing that the way to save the world was to fall in love with four people at the same time without capsizing the boat XD. It didn't matter that the four people were all the... more>> same T.T it was just-- anyway.) If you don't take the plot too seriously and just enjoy the overall direction, it's not so bad. At least, it's coherent and there's always a trail to follow. It might have ended up a bit sickeningly sweet and awkward at the end, but because there was enough build-up, it's easy to turn a blind eye to it. Now, let's talk about the plot...

SUMMARY: The MC of this novel, Li Shaoxi, is a bright and spirited 17-year-old who was suddenly faced with an 80 million debt. His life before this was smooth and filled with sunshine. With parents to love and care for him, good grades in school, good looks, etc. He spent most of his time gaming and living a care-free life. Faced with the idea that the next section of his life is bound to be filled with hardships, he didn't blame the parents, but instead was desperate to find a solution. It was in such a state that he was pulled into a mysterious realm by the "Black Field".

The Black Field is a mysterious existence that has been working hard for decades to devour the whole world. It set up game fields that pulls in players and devours endlessly until it has enough power to spill into reality and impact Earth. So far, humans have only been able to survive through the cracks. Countless powerful players have fallen over the years. Including the ML of this story (Jian Yue), who the MC meets in his first field game.

At the time, the MC had no clue as to what the field was actually about. He only understood as time passed that it was very dangerous here. He relied on the top-level boss ML to survive for three days, and from then on, the two were inexplicably linked. The MC trusted and imprinted on the cold, aloof ML who looks ice cold on the outside but was actually extremely gentle on the inside. The ML, who has played through countless fields, supporting the whole world with his own strength, found his cold heart being warmed by the MC's tenacious spirit and vitality.

With their perfect cooperation, they manage to save the world.

________

* THE PLOT: The plot was pretty interesting. I actually enjoyed the first half of the story more (with the detailed game elements and survival settings). I was disappointed when the survival strategy elements disappeared and were replaced by love strategy elements XD But by then, I had already been hooked by the characters (each of whom had their own goals, their own fears, their own growth processes), so I stayed despite the fact that the second-half of the story may not have been my cup of tea. All I could be thankful for is that the plot at least made sense. No matter how ridiculous some things became, at least it was very coherent.

* THE CHARACTERS: The characters are my favorite here. It can't be said to be a completely character-driven work. But each character here had their own soul, even the side-characters who may not have been able to see through their own character developments were very interesting to me.

* THE SETTING: This is a typical unlimited flow novel where the MC is the main focus. The ML is more of an accessory, especially after he was broken up like the typical ML's in unlimited flow/transmigration novels. I thought the game elements were quite unique at the beginning, maybe the author didn't know how to deal with it later, so things became ambiguous, but the introduction was enough to catch my eye.

RATING: 4/5!! The story is definitely far from being perfect. For one, it's too short, and there are serious issues in the second-half of the story. But at least it's better than many other similar stories out there. It had a clear theme and an engaging plot. I mentioned earlier that the ML was more like an accessory, but in fact, most of the character development here is his. Because in the process of putting him back together, we get to see his character's journey in great detail. It's just that he's a passive participant most of the time, making him look like the background board more than the MC. So yeah, the romance aspect, at least when you look at the growth process of the MC and ML across the story, is not bad. It's nothing new, and it can be said to be a bit awkward at the end, but at least THERE IS growth in there. Which is different from other stories where it's hard to say where the story begins and ends. <<less

The novel is actually going well for me at first, but when the love game appeared... I'm out. I immediately skimmed along the arc and turned to the next arc. I don't like shura field, it's too off for me.

I actually like the concept of the game and all but the love game just ruined it all for me. Nah ah, especially the last arc where there's 3 ML. It doesn't feel right to me. And why does it have to be about love? Can you f*cking eat it? No,... more>> right? I have so many complaints about it but I'll stop now.

What I like the most is the bond of the Cloud guild. They're all nice and funny, they just brightens the novel on a whole and another level. It's the comedic undertone for me.

The Crack/rift is another existence I love too. It's too sacrificing. <<less

I absolutely loved it👍, this author is an old acquaintance, an expert in unlimited flow, maybe some of you know one of his main works, loading game, what else can I say, he knows what he's doing.

This story is about a survival game where our MC and ML fall in love, with happy ending.💖

MC is very strong, he becomes strong with his many efforts, he is charismatic and very cute❤.

ML is OP two OPs, no one is stronger than him, it's just that all the strength he has comes... more>> from tears and blood, and his strength plus his kindness has given him a huge burden and responsibility, MC turns out to be his relief is very beautiful 💘.

The construction of the world is perfect.

Secondary people are lively and with personality, I love the cloud family.💕

I recommend it to anyone who enjoys happy endings, unlimited flow, survival games and bl.👌👏 <<less

The beginning is fun to read but after about 13 chapters, it becomes a bit boring and difficult to go further.

I won't rate it yet as I MTL'd it and I know I missed a lot. The MTL isn't the easiest to understand, but passable.

I was honestly surprised that this was released after Game Loading. This novel is messy, the pacing is off, and the author reused the multiple boats, s*um MC aspect from Game Loading and the story didn't need it.

I almost dropped it after the first game, it was wordy for no reason, the live broadcast aspect was clunky and annoying, and the MC/ML were bland. The MC... more>> does get better as the novel goes on, but ML is a side character.

MC is the sunny, happy go lucky type. He is OP and obtains what he needs when he needs it, but I like MCs like this. He annoyed me at first, but I grew to like him, he doesn't really change but he isn't a wimp like the first game.

ML is stuck in the black field so even though he looks 17 he has lived long enough to be 1000+ (maybe more or less, again MTL is confusing) .
Spoiler

he ends up splitting himself up into 8 so MC can pull out the lvl 99 ML, so we basically get 8 superficial MLs, he doesn't get a lot of time, then when he is out he instantly loves MC because the split up him did and then the go into the black field together to close it?

[collapse]

This really could have been a great story even reusing the s*um MC aspect (which wasn't needed, but the author obviously likes it) if the author:

    • Fleshed out the story more. Like maybe some normal games between the ML games, so that the MC could grow. He only does 2 arcs with other people. The ML arcs could have included more of his background so that we got a better understanding of ML. ML needed to be fleshed out more.
    • Cut out the parts where author gets really wordy at random insignificant parts.
    • I wanted more of courting/dating once ML was out, it was just wham bam thank you, even just an awkward moment or two.
    • The side characters had a lot of stories and depth to them that could have been interesting to explore. Just a bit more interaction with the MC or more on their past to help MC understand something etc.
    • Different extras, I wasn't that into the extras.
Spoiler

I'm still not sure if the black field is closed or temp defeated because the MTL wasn't clear, but they talk about how the equipment will help and using the crack to move around China... so I don't think it's over. I would have preferred an extra on this instead of them going to school and planning on university.

[collapse]

TLDR: not the authors best work, pacing is off and left me unfulfilled. Probably would have liked it more of I read this before Game Loading.

Might read again if it's ever translated <<less

The central theme of strong, determined people in desperate situations sounded good at first but the writer messed it up badly.

They had an interesting idea, just not the ability to pull it off.

Characterisation is a hot mess, MC doesn't come off as strong but either mentally "special" or just insane, the other characters are so heavily stereotyped that it's comical, even their appearance, they are walking tropes.

Pacing is awful, new characters are introduced every few chapters and they interact with the MC/main cast like they have been best pals for... more>> years, there's no introduction or get-to-know at all, neither did the writer waste time on proper world building but puts lots of words into the same descriptions.

ML's cold face, MC's dimples and smile, yada yada, over and over.

And plot holes. In the first 20 chapters. That's just sad.

Spoiler

Everything it the fields only exists in there, nothing can be taken out of it, it's basically virtual.

Somehow players have their supernatural game-abilities in the real world but act like MC taking something out of it is a big deal that could throw the world into chaos.

Millions of players with superhuman abilities are fine, a guy who can take out random stuff is a menace in the making, while none of that should even happen because the game-world is purely "virtual", and for some reason these millions of people never caused any trouble so no one who isn't a player knows about these games.

How did the writer fail to notice this massive plot hole when all of it is explained in basically the same sentence? That's next level bullsh*t and the main reason why even one star is still too high.

[collapse]

The low ratings are completely justified, it's a wish fulfillment story you would expect from a pre-teen. <<less

I don’t really know why it has such a low rating but the story so far isn’t that bad.

If there was a problem I can see cropping up it would be a plot hole that is already present only this short amount of chapters in. It makes me more worried for the amount that may be present in the future.

Despite that people should give the story a chance despite it not being for me. I might come back to continue but I will wait till it’s fully translated.
