I usually don't prefer reading BL with just pure romance or social life genre because after some time it gets predictable and the drama is no different than the straight romance. So although I put this novel in my reading list, I debated for months before I finally decided to give a try. To my surprise, I didn't struggle to complete reading this. In fact, I couldn't put down the story and was reluctant to go to sleep.

I like how both YQH and HQ are so devoted to each other....... more>> putting each other first and also how decisive they are towards their relationship. Despite worrying that public will criticise and not accept they are willing to take the risk and determined to walk the difficult path. <<less

This story is cutest story ever. I highly recommend this for those who really love to read fluffy and easygoing story that contain no 3rd party and family opposed.

I like this story based on how brave and good the MC is even though he being reborn, he still rely on his ability solely without need to depends on the ML thigh at all.

For the ML, although he has low EQ, but he have a character that every great ML have.... This is why I really love this story and not... more>> to forget the reality of this story really show how world resolved... <<less

It's really a beautiful story with beautiful characters. Especially the people around MC and ML's family, all of them are too lovely people. No dramatics, no evils just Only puffyness and happiness?

This novel was very fluffy and light hearted. The main character was reborn after saving someone and given the chance to live his life over. There was no angst at all and everything was chill. The main lead, I believe, is on the spectrum and has asperger syndrome. They never clearly defined it but he’s definitely on the autism spectrum. All in all, I enjoyed it.

It gets only 4 stars because I couldn’t connect with it. Everything happens quickly/smoothly. Even when other characters throw dirty water on him and try... more>> to drag him down it gets resolved the next chapter or two and never gave me a chance to feel some type of way about it. It didn’t stir my emotions. It was overall cute and pleasant. <<less

It really became one of my favorite stories. It's a story of a very beautiful love that heals wounds. It made me feel like life isn't eternal shit. The 1st extra made me cry a lot. The following filled me with warmth. Thanks to the writer for such a good job.

It's definitely fluffy so far... Something that came to mind when I was reading was that the author is probably very young. The way Huo Qu is portrayed, the side characters' and cannon fodders' thoughts and interactions with the MC, MC's relationship with ML... It feels like it's written by a young person who doesn't necessarily want to portray realistic characters and relationships. So the characters are pretty one dimensional.

It's good for a light read. Just take off your critical thinking hat and you'll be able to enjoy it... more>> more. <<less

Relationship:

After they meet and fall in love they are a lovey dovey couple that feeds everyone with dog food.

MC/Yu Qinghuan is a lucky coy with a future nobel laureates boyfriend (= ML/Huo Qu). ML often acts like a little kid, who sulks and is totally sticky to MC. Consent is sometimes dubious because for some s*upid reason MC once taught him that 'No means Yes'. MC also has a funny good friend. Everything goes smoothly like MC's career, ML's families opinion or public opinion of their gay relationship. It is also mentioned in the story that MC and ML are fated to be together (hast to do with MC's 'past life'). No serious drama.

The extra chapters include anterior chapters, marriage life, and sweet daily life. <<less

this novel is just me happily shovelling dog food into my mouth

it's a good read, but not extraordinary, great if you just wanna spend some time on fluff knowing nothing bad is going to happen

one sour point for me is the author always bringing up 'sometimes yes means no' in the context of their s*xual relationship. I'd honestly like the main pair more if I wasn't cringing every time I saw that line ... more>>
