i think I read a review saying they wish the MC did more for wen sisi or did something to protect her, but I disagree. wen sisi grew up in a family that could provide everything she needed, and in return they expected her to be willing to be a tool to expand their wealth if necessary. that means after the fall of the wen family two things were necessary. first, she needed to leave the wen family and understand her worth as an individual instead of blindly following the concept of familial piety. second, she needed to learn how to take care of herself and be independent. this is exactly what the MC does for her by providing an apartment in a distant city that's had its rent paid in advance for a full year. the only downside is that they both knew that by being in different social classes, it would be difficult for them to be close friends. chi zhengzheng is a reminder of what wen sisi used to have, but wen sisi also has strong pride and doesn't want people to see her while she's "weak". I wish the later extras said if they remained in touch as they got older though.

The ML is great if you like the possessive/controlling MLs, which I generally do. He's definitely starting to get that 'horndog' attitude, however, and I don't like when CN novels have the ML characters act this way as it typically coincides with the female MCs seeing s*x as a duty to make their partner happy without deriving any actual pleasure for themselves out of the act.

MC is also having a personality shift towards those female characters that grab their love interests' sleeves and begs for attention by acting baby-ish. It's odd because I typically associate this behavior with the antagonist love rivals. She'll also have random moments of strength to 'defend' ML, but then she immediately shrinks in front of him and needs coddling. I don't dislike her, but I do think I prefer her character when she isn't in their home.

I do like MC's brother and Wen Sisi.

Squick moment but her Ex fiancé gets non-coned by his girlfriend because she was afraid of losing him back to MC. It was a quick fade to black, but it was kinda gross considering he was recovering from alcohol poisoning and mistakenly thought she was MC. I don’t think she was pregnant but she did try to use her Lira to her advantage

he didn't understand why she wanted space and while he agreed to her, he was thinking differently. And that was good, because people don't really bend that easily. And he was scared to lose her so he got that protective. It took a lot before he actually agreed.

Btw, Just literally yesterday I read Another BG with Transmigration MC and she have a Comatose moment that break ML's Heart. What is this Weird Coincidence the next novel I read also a BG with Transmigration MC that also have Comatose scene and BREAK ML's Heart too!!! WTF!!! This Novel break my heart more than the other novel though. I'm LITERALLY BAWLING!!!

There were lots of parts that I happily skimmed or skipped. I'm not a huge fan of stories that go on and on with abusive language just so reader can hate the villain (s) more, so I probably skimmed or skipped all those parts. The author could have definitely benefited from some editing.
