This is so amazingly bad that it's refreshing. It's a war novel that has zero tactics. Just constant cringey insults are thrown around. Psychological warfare is a thing and all, but in this novel it's the only thing. There isn't a single swing of a weapon that isn't preceded by the wielder spouting some pre teen level insult.

"Hey, losers! We are skilled and frightening warriors!"

That's a direct copy paste. The insults are so, so bad. I'd give them the benefit of a doubt for a lot of it being lost... more>> in translation, but still, there's too much of it. So far the novel has been about 90% of it's time spent on battlefields. Meaning that really all I've read is just a steady stream of insults that are worse than a child's level. Pretty sure I coulda talked better sh*t than these guys at like 8 years old. <<less

This is extremely horrible. If this is a published novels the standards are really low. An average fanfic writer is much better than this.

I'll explain clearly why I am rating this so poorly. From first chapter there is no explanation about the world of this story or who the MC was in past in real world or even this world. There is very mild minor explanation lines somewhere saying MC has reincarnated into game world. No explanation of how skilled MC is or how he got to current point. The... more>> first chapter feels like 10th chapter of a novel where narration is ongoing casually without background.

Now all this would simply make it a mediocre Novel. But what makes it worse are the non stop and cringe worthy insults in every single chapter. The insults are not demeaning or degrading, they are simply cringe worthy like written by a pre-teen kid just learning new insults. Also the setting is completely wrong. There is barely any focus on strategy or tactics. Nope the supposed mercenary just charge like barbarians at each other and then hurl insults non stop in middle of battle and then one dies and next one steps up to throw more insults and so on. I am half convinced someone wrote this story to troll the readers but since someone is taking the effort to translate this I could be wrong.

The translation work is ok but the story itself is so bad I will never recommend anyone to read this. Lol and here I was thinking initially that the other reviewer was too harsh in rating one star. But nope it deserves this rating. <<less
