This guy thinks the world around him are tools for the fake MC to shine. Okay I know he is reincarnated and confused and it's not wrong to think like that. I was okay with it But what made me hate this novel the most is his attitude change over his childhood friend. Our main MC has a childhood friend who supported her even back then when he was bad guy before this guy took over his body but this guy just to avoid doomflags he pushed her away like a tr*sh can

(because according to the main story after fighting with the MC he was expelled from the school but his childhood friend took a vow to take revenge on the fake MC but also fell in ruin)

So he started avoiding her and says he doesn't like gyaru type girls

(btw she was a gyaru because she cared for the MC and watched over him so that he doesn't lose his way)

He says that it's for her own benefit but when our childhood heroine changes her gyaru look and surpasses the other three main heroines in look category he makes a vow that whatever will happen he will protect his chidhood friend. This... this... really irritated me the most so you are saying that if she didn't change her look you would have not bothered about her and left her to rot. What a selfish self centered thought process and what's worse this guy is an adult in his past life this guy is so desperate for girls that once she is known beautiful he immediately changed his way to approach. This type of MC is worse than any s*um from any novel villains I have read. I really wish instead of this reincarnated MC the body's original owner comes to his own body

The "world" has a "will" that will change reality to fit the "original story" trope. It's a awful trope that pops up in isekai/reincarnation stories that are based on movies, games, books. It's usually something that is pulled out of thin air and is just assumed to be a thing with no evidence. With it comes wild assumptions that could have been handwaved as being completely benign, except because of this trope, it's perceived to be part of this grand conspiracy by the story itself. It's hardly ever the case in these stories, it's just an assumed thing to be a thing despite it not being a thing the majority of the time.

"Everyone keeps treating me badly. It must be because of the pre-scripted story!"

You have a bad reputation and people don't like you. One day of kissing ass won't change that, do you have the social experience of a fish? Aren't you supposed to be an adult?

"People who associate with me, keep associating with me. It has to be the pre-scripted story!"

You mean your close friends and family care about you? Oh my god, what a surprise, what a tragedy! Also for someone who is supposedly an adult, the fact that you tried to snub your friend who cares for you instead of just talking to them is something children and adults who never grew up mentally do.

I mean the protagonists seems to think everyone around him has no will of their own and are just tools of the story. It might be the case, it hasn't gotten that deep into the story yet. However having this assumption from the outset seems downright psychopathic to me.

Its just strange why a working adult gets so flustered and acts like a pubescent teenager talking to a woman for the first time when he meets a very good looking HIGHSCHOOL girl, mind you he is a working adult getting embarrassed and stuttering over a highschool girl.
