At the beginning there are a few things that annoy me, like how he claims to take responsibility yet is constantly "plotting" to ruin the marriage. It's something that I can overlook since it gets played off as a good thing and he usually ends up trying his best at the time but it still just inherently makes me dislike his character. He claims to take responsibility but his inner thoughts show anything but, which just makes him feel like tr*sh.

Then the book starts to go down a harem route for no reason. Like, it would of been a perfectly fine plot point if he just refused the 2nd girl and its over but instead she chases after him and this worthless man for some reason starts to go along with it. Just tell her no, tell her your not interested, tell her you are in a relationship...

It's mostly due to how the start of the book is so focused on him winning over the family of the first love interest and their relationship that it makes it feel like its suppose to actually be a romance type, and she even tells him not to cheat on her and he says he wont. He realizes that the 2nd girl is trying to seduce him but instead of just refusing he continues with his tr*sh personality just so the author can get a worthless harem route for no reason.

The main characters personally just feels so bad to me. Part of it is since the author doesn't have it be over the top, its not like he is trying to commit the worse evil the author can think of, but its just the constant way that he says one thing and then does another. If you say your going to take responsibility don't instantly plot on how you can avoid it... If you refuse someone actually refuse them, and if you want to me with them be a decent person and break off your previous relationship.

I think the biggest aspect is just my disappointment... With the title and how the book started I expected a romance wuxia type of book and I've gotten very tired of the cultivation collect women like pokemon type books so I thought it would be interesting but its just devolved into the same garbage harem as other books but lacking the other aspects that make those books interesting.

There is also a lot of other smaller aspects like the characters not feeling that developed. MC is called mad dog but acts kind normally, it mentions anger issues but we rarely see him get angry and when he does its not like he goes overboard in his anger. All of the characters just feel so lifeless, brother who likes swords, likes to eat, wants to take care of someone. There are a few that feel good like the elder, but just overall the series felt average/weak on this side, so now with the harem aspect annoying me and the mc's personality there just isn't anything that keeps me hooked or makes me want to continue.
