The MC Has her life at stake and is literally beaten black-and-blue near the end. It was so sad to read. No one was able to even recognize her, and it was even more sad at the fact that they had left there in that cabin. I could imagine how numb and f***** up she had felt over that. That sence was so sad to realize she was left behind.

MC knew that Lize was suspicious but seeing how angelic and innocent she was, MC repeatedly fell into her trap again which could be avoided if she's just be more careful and cautious around Lize. And even after Lize was proved to be the culprit behind all of her misfortune, MC still chose to forgive her just because she came from the same world as she, forgetting that she almost died more than once in her hand.

She also forgave the ducal family, including ML, a bit too easily. I know that they were influenced by Lize's plot armor but even after she shed all the pretence, the ducal couple and Cliff still took her side. Only ML sided with her.

It didn't mean I like ML though. His earlier behavior was understandable because he was also influenced by Lize's plot armor but even after he regained his sense, he still treated Lize kindly and did things like hugging or kissing her forehead which was still considered out of line since he was already married and Lize wasn't his blood relative. Fortunately, he later realized how a jerk he was and made it up to MC. He didn't suffer much though since MC readily forgave him.

We even got a glimpse the aftermath of her death in her previous life.

So much so that it basically shifts and magnifies the ML's inferiority complex from his brother to her. He always felt he played second fiddle to his brother (OGML), but with FL, he feels like she doesn't even take him into account as a confidant, and it makes sense considering how she was treated by him and others through both her lives.

at the climax. I get it; she's human, and we get tired, and honestly, at that point, I would've done the same. There is no great passion for life at that point after the universe has spat on you so many times to keep struggling. Might as well go out the way you want.

last I remember, there's no 2ML. The 2FL, if she's even that, is also no threat emotionally to FL, and I also like that that sorta emphasizes that as much as this novel is about romance, it's mostly about surviving in a world that's literally out to kill you after mentally and physically tormenting you. The world is still a novel, and the author is alive and an active authority in how it functions until they lose their power (similar to Beware the Villainess except the author wasn't as active there as they are here).

Speaking of the in-universe author, they might be my only gripe. It's fine that they get transmigrated into their own novel, but how did they make OTHER PEOPLE transmigrate into Edith from "our" world??? It bugs me, but it's not worth a whole star if you can gloss over how OP they are (and STILL lose lol).

I'm honestly glad they didn't get redeemed at the end to show just how thoroughly rotten they are. FL gave them an olive branch, and they stripped it of its leaves and fruit and then tried and failed to set up a lumber company with it

so everyone is brainwashed by the novels author who takes the form of the og Fl! And what? Over 12 girls who traveled into Ediths body have died. Crazy stuff really

I believe the first condition was met by her after kissing Killian at night, and thus leading to the first night. I think the actual condition was to do what the original edith did. The second condition was to I believe reject ML (killian) so many times (10 times I believe thought it might have been 20 or 30) then the final condition it was to not be afraid of death

When it was near the end, and she was telling a grief stricken Killian to kill her, unknowingly meeting the third condition or when that sh*t maid came and ab*sed her. Honestly she doesn't get a rest until the end. Even her past life events were painful and saddening.
