MC ends up caring for the ML like a real grandmother. She makes sacrifices for him so he wouldn't have to experience the horrible events of the original novel. He grows up feeling loved and valued.
MC also ends adopting the original novel's FL. Her protection ensures that both the ML and FL have a happy childhood.
