(Did read MTL version) I was born in hell, is a story that tells us the adventures of Guan Yu who is reincarnated at the very beginning of the apocalypse (after living it one time). He is a cold and ruthless sadomasochist who respects only the strong and tramples the weak. The scenario is quite original, different from the typical zombie apocalypse, there is a lot to dig and discover. Otherwise the relationship between the characters is passable.

MC - Gu Fan, is a bloodthirsty, cruel and Indifferent man who derives in the pleasure of killing and being in extreme pain (sadomaschist basically).

He is a truly crazy and mad man who is willing to do anything to become stronger, even at the cost of almost ruining his body at the first beginning 30 chapters.

The writing style is very... Interesting.

The descriptions of gore are very vivid and it's easy to imagine the scene. The places which are aimed at are vital and soft/vulnerable parts of the body which makes me twitch and shiver at imagining myself getting hurt.

One of the scenes that made me scared was the scene where Gu Fan grabbed a wine glass and smashed it at this guy's eye and directly gorged the eyeball out of the socket and into the wine glass.

Anyways, this MC is totally ballistic and insane.

The writing style is very explosive and exclamation marks are used quite a bit. And MC seems to have a tendency of speaking his thoughts out loud from what I've seen from the translations.

The translations are okay but at the same time could be better because idk if its the writers style or the way it's translated, it feels a bit off and it's in first person and 3rd POV sometimes.

The descriptions of describing despair in an apocalypse and how kindness is unnecessary and will even land you in a disadvantage position is displayed and it is very powerful, especially when it's written in short sentences lol.

Overall, I would give it 4 stars for now. <<less
