One day, Lugus, a jail guard working in the Demon Lord’s castle dungeon, realized something terrible:

He was reincarnated as a minor villain in an adult game called Prison Heroine, where captured heroines suffer cruel fates.

Lugus immediately made a decision:

Be kind to the heroines, avoid harming them, and hope they’ll let him go when things get dangerous.

To be extra safe, he trained to get stronger and even modified the prison to help him survive.

Will Lugus be able to escape his fate as the villain who always loses!?

This very short. Treat this like junk food. Decent start, but then it kind of loses traction by the end, devolving (getting dumber) like the author ran out of ideas.

Everything is shallow. There is no depth to anything. Harem-wise, there is clear indication that the heroines like MC, but it's not that satisfying imo.

    Spoiler

There's only two legit heroines that were captured.

There's the princess knight first girl. She seems to be the main female lead, but her presence is super thin.

Then there's the elf kuudere who's obsessed with making things, only to be amplified thanks to MC's earth knowledge. She has the most presence of all heroines, and most forward with MC.

The others, if you can consider them as ones, are from the demon faction.

There's the demon general or whatever turned s*ave maid for MC. Her development is weird. At first, she was a hard-headed demon, but eventually has her stomach captured by MC's cooking. So, her personality devolves into accepting being a s*ave pet. Imo, she loses personality.

Same goes for the demon lord. Another hard-headed demon obsessed with strength, who then only cares for MC for his food after tasting it.

There's also the demon lord's mom, who I thought would join the harem considering the author's other works, but no, she's just acts as a supporting character.

    [collapse]

It just feels like the author didn't put much thought into this. The development is bad, the characters and their personality are shallow, hell the title is only true for the first half of the story.

All in all, okayish read if you're bored. Again, treat this like junk food. I liked it, but it does feel like the author gave up once the title loses itself. <<less

This is filler. The author's humor is pretty good, but the story for this one kinda falls flat. It starts out reasonably enough for the premise, but fails to really go anywhere from there.

It doesn't even finish the summary. "To be extra safe, he trained to get stronger and even modified the prison to help him survive." Never happens. He starts cooking and from then on that is 90% of his character.

From there it basically forces a finale after we've only been introduced to two heroines. There's a few demons... more>> inxluded to fill out the potential harem but it remains purely theoretical. In all nothing worth getting invested in but the gags might be worth a chuckle or two. <<less
