Honestly, I found myself crying quite a bit whenever the novel focused more on Isabel's (MC) terminal illness/time limit. Unlike other 'time limit' novels, everyone is well aware of how much time Isabel has left ;; even when everyone is happy or enjoying her cuteness, it's also with the underlying thought that time is slipping away and she has so much less.

I love how sincere and positivie Isabel is. She's so grateful to be alive and it's that drive which makes her a ball of sunshine. Her remaining life is... more>> a gift she wants to gift back to the world. The male lead is also very cute, I love their relationship.

This novel does have alot of genre typical clichés (everyone loves Isabel, she's op for a kid, etc.) but I like Isabel enough it's not grating.

There's also the typical cold emperor dad but the mom is still alive so it's a kind of different dynamic. He's so horrid with his emotions but loves her so much, he can't really put away his emperor's dignity. It's kind of weird the dad only loves Isabel of his (five) children but the family seems to function that way. Isabel doesn't even seem to see her parents that much since they're so busy.

I do wish there was more focus on the mom's pov instead of the dad though. <<less
