As i was given a script, the void space appeared in my mind and forced me to relive the character.

I got stabbed. Became a serial killer. Became an Exorcist.

As I become an actor, the misunderstandings keeps growing day by day.

It's an "as written on the tin" novel. Lighthearted and no jaw dropping plot twists so far but the pacing, style, and characters are all done really well. MC is definitely the kind of character that grows on you over time.

Basically, if you read the synopsis and the title and you're interested, give it a shot. If you've read the first 20ish chapters and still like it, you'll love the rest of the story.

I was bored, so I decided to read this. It's stuck at 3 stars because every chapter feels redundant. For example, multiple POVs repeat the same reactions, descriptions, and even exact wordings. Furthermore, the main character reacts too often, heavily relying on repetitive emotional responses. Not only that, but each chapter keeps echoing the same patterns—making every arc feel like a recycled script with slight variations. It became quite annoying.

I only increased the rating because of the quality of the translation.

Increased in stars because of the translation. Kudos to you!

I really enjoyed reading this! And I loved the way they depicted the MC experiencing the different scripts. Felt like I got a lot of stories in one.

Tho later on in the story they kinda started to skip over them in favour of showing people reacting to MC being cool. So they removed several things, that initially were the things that made me love this story.

It was still very entertaining until the end. I honestly still can't fathom how this story made me - who can't stand missunderstandings - adore... more>> all the insane missunderstandings that got conjured up surrounding the mc! <<less

A fun, easy read! The focus of the story is about pure acting (and MC gathering skills along the way). There's romance, but it's mostly in the later arcs after MC has a solid foothold in the industry.

Woojin, the MC, is the center of the universe, and everything works out for him. If you like smooth sailing stories with little to no frustrating villains, then this one's for you.

What sets this apart from other showbiz stories is MC's POV--there is a striking dissonance between what is seen and experienced in... more>> his real life. He started a 'tough guy' concept, and it ended up with him becoming the king of misunderstandings. If you know the Greek myth of Cassandra, who was gifted with the power of prophecy but cursed to be never believed, then this man is the male version of her.

As for his cheat power, I like that it's somewhat explained

and it's not taken away until the end of the novel. It's so sick, though I did worry about his mental health. I mean, if you experience death several times inside the dark space, realistically speaking, you'd have PTSD

The only critique I can think of is the lost potential of a lot of side characters. I don't know if author simply forgot them but

I was actually kinda looking forward to the shaman's daughter and the handsome disciple of that theater veteran. They were mentioned for several chapters and there's buildup, but they were never mentioned again during the filming and after the series Beneficial Evil was aired

As for the last chapters, I do wish author wrote more on

I really enjoyed this novel! It’s not got a lot of conflict or anything, but to me, I really like indulgent stories, and the misunderstandings trope that make a character succeed more instead of just embarrassing them. He’s an ordinary guy forced to play an extraordinary one, if that appeals to you then read this novel!

I've been accompanied by woojin everyday these past weeks, now that its end I kinda feel empty lol.

The translate is good, the story is good but the ending is completely dissapointing to me.

Like a few review before me, the beginning of the novel is good. The flow and phase of the earlier chapter is telling us how he delve into acting. But when he entering hollywood which happened nearing the end of the story, its start to downgrade.

I mean the author can delve deeper into how he develop his character... more>> he is playing or

his emotional development of relationship with his girlfriend

rather than inserting public comment kind of line which is too excessive. It even took 50% of some chapter, which for me its useless, you can just describe it rather than inserting the comment section.

And I think the author might have watch joker before they write the later part of the novel because its way too focus on it and drag on. So the other project that he took at the same time with joker didnt get much of lime light and the end felt abrupt.

Conclusion:

- The translation is good

- The novel is good but the ending is dissapointing

- Too much comment section

- Lack of human development, at least write how he opened up about his true self to his gf, so she wont stay misunderstand and see his concept as his real self.

- Lack description of how he grown as an actor i.e. How he analyze the script and come up with adlibs after 2 months.

This one got manhwa adaptation, I read this novel because I got hooked by the manhwa <<less
