Before I start, I'm sorry if something is wrong, English is not my first language.

the premise is good, the synopsis is actually very well written and creates expectations about the story. But the good things end there! I stopped at chapter 7 and couldn't go any further because it seems that the person who wrote this was a 13-year-old teenager who decided to try writing.

Things happen very quickly, without any solid development or plot. It simply happens in a few lines without any construction between each paragraph, ending up frustrating... more>> the reader's immersion in the story.

the translation on the other hand is very good! Easy to translate into my native language without major discrepancies. Thank you translator for your hard work! <<less

This is story and the plot is good. But unfortunately we have a unreliable narrator here. One second the character is not there in the scene. All of a sudden he is there. Lack of scene to scene transition which makes reading this novel frustrating. Other than that the story and the characters are good. Due to unreliable narrator we are unable to understand the depth of each character

Its not great, the synopsis sounds interesting but the story is rushed and some parts don't seem to make much sense. The MC is just a pretty face who is constantly in danger, while the ML is superman. A lot happens but at the same time it seems to have no consequence to the plot.

It was as if the author tried to pull as many ideas into the story but did not know how to put them together in a cohesive manner. In the end I could not bother finishing... more>> this.

There are many side characters, talks about war and border struggles but we as the reader don't really get a chance to know much about it. Just a off chance of a side character mentioning it then forgotten. Overall boring. <<less

The synopsis sounded interesting and at first, the story line was good. I expected it to be light-hearted and fun like they have a farm, opened a shop, etc.. Or fully go into the drama of political struggles, etc.. Instead, the author glossed over all the details and the "problems"..... the more I read it the more repetitive it got. The author was recycling ideas at this point

The MC is constantly being ab*sed/kidnapped and is ALWAYS LUSTED by other people. Then the ML swoops in and saves the day. This... more>> happens so often its actually crazy. Its like the only thing moving the plot forward I feel.

The only problems they encounter so far in the story is people scheming to get someone else's boyfriend/husband. It might as well be a palace drama.

The author leaves us in the dark regarding all businesses that the ML does. Im still confused on what businesses or stores he owns because the only thing in the description is that he is the richest man in the county. By doing what????

And idk if its just me but I wished they would just kill or send off the annoying people for good. They let them go over and over and then it comes and bites them back in the butt... But they are civilized people, I supposed. <<less

First of all, I would like to talk about the good parts (or the reasons why I read it) of this novel.

Usually, the synopsis would serve as a little window in order to take a peek in what the story holds. I imagined that this novel would probably be having the MC hate the ML but the ML would feel the opposite, like having misunderstandings from their past lives that would slowly be solved in their current lives in a plot driven step-by-step process. The synopsis tickled my fancy and... more>> I decided to read the novel. We'll get into the part of what the story is later.

The Mpreg tag also pulled me into this quagmire, call me a sucker for it but that's what made the novel appeal to me. Though I imagined them having kids in the extras

That's enough of that, now let's move on to why I rated this novel so low.

The story was unlike what the synopsis had me thinking, a little banter between two people with misunderstandings in the way of their relationship. No. It's not like that— well, technically it it but....

Wow, I thought I was about to read a wife chasing novel, turns out I wasn't.

Furthermore, the conflicts within the story are ridiculous (to me), it's always about someone wanting someone else's husband to be theirs so they resulted in petty tricks only for it to backfire on them, mostly involving the MC. And the fact that MC is always in trouble whenever the ML is not around is another reason why finishing this novel was hard for me.

The MC is always described as having an attractive face, always getting into trouble because of lechers, women who want ML, or offending someone.

Also, MC always seems so nosy, as well as being 'silly' as what other characters describe.

From how he can't seem to be taught how to read despite living in that world for a few years, how he can't seem to learn the conduct of people in that time, getting into trouble most of the time, and being in every other person's business? yeah, he's a bit 'silly'.

Another point is, the ML is 'powerful', so powerful it seems ridiculous.

Rare pills? It's just a few pebbles, money? Go squander it, Businesses? He's in the trade, baby. And even then, it's still not known how many shops he has and what they are throughout the whole novel. Richest man there? Please, he can't even hire a shadow guard to look after his 'silly' wife.

Mpreg it says but even til the end, it's always the side characters who're getting pregnant and having children of their own. The MC? Nevermind the fact that his shuanger mark is faint, even then, they've been going at it every three to four chapters at least, there should've been one lucky s*erm that hit the bullseye right? After all, they're not really taking contraceptives.... Well, they didn't have biological children til the end🗿, they opted to adoption (I'm not really having a problem with that), still, is the MC not capable or is ML not capable???

Lastly, I'd like to mention how fast-paced the novel is, at one moment they're still in the middle of problem 1, suddenly it got solved and they moved on to problem 2. And it's the repeating problems kind

The war, which should've symbolized the climax of the story, was glossed over and years were skipped, focusing solely in MC and ML having a house husbands moment. The war should've lasted a decade but it was skimmed over like nothing, so much for the thunderstorm before the calm🗿.

When I read the description, I thought the story would have lots of dog-blood or be a crematorium. However it ended up being mostly fluff. The story and the characters weren’t very deep, but the story moves quickly.

Tbh, I didn’t like the MC that much as I felt like he was quite silly, and whilst various characters mentioned that he was ‘special’ or ‘capable’, other than being good looking, he didn’t end up doing anything that showed that at all. He got into dangerous situations all the time, but luckily... more>> the ML is super OP and ended up saving him all the time.

Another thing is all the side characters got paired up with each other.

I can’t say this is a bad novel, nor is it something that I would re-read. It’s just something to pass the time. <<less
