Despite being born into an aristocratic family, Edward was rescued by his uncle when he was half-dead after being ab*sed by his parents.

While still a young child, during the time his health was recovering, he remembered vague memories of his previous life and realized that the world he was in was the world of the novel he had read in his previous life. Moreover, in that novel, Edward is a villainous son who kills his stepbrother in the future and ends up dying himself.

Edward, who was a favorite of his stepbrother in his previous life, does not want such a future! Therefore, he decides to be a good boy!

Unlike in the novel, Edward builds a good relationship with his stepbrother and the people around him, however, there is something suspicious going on around him?

Spoiler

I don't know if it's because of the language or the culture or something else but it's so weird that MC has to say thank you and sorry and have all these polite detailed conversations with everyone that you'll only hear on an awkward blind date. Isn't it weird for a four year old kid to be saying it? Even if we take into consideration a 25 year old transmigrator the speech is still weird. The author maybe tried to portray a cheerful naive MC but the timing of his obliviousness is also so strange. Feels like MC is neither 4 or 25 but actually an alien adapting to human life...
