completed! Such a nice read. Slow burn, not as much romance as I prefer but it was good enough to finish I guess haha. All characters are well written in my opinion, I felt some frustration at some parts but in general the revenge is really well developed and FL is very decisive. FL is dense romance wise, in the end she takes action but the process was annoying to me, specially since there's not even enough romance (to me) to begin with.

Translation is very good.

Story is very simple. There is no angst and it is a happy ending. No one is too Mary Sue. Even the ML is not the all knowing, all capable strong man. FL can get annoying at times. But she has a growth in her character. ML and her adopted family all love her unconditionally and they give her the strength to love herself. She is a selfless person and cares more about others than herself, so finding a family who loves her for herself and a... more>> family that would protect her is what she needed. <<less

GAHHHH!! It's such a beautiful novel!! I kinda thought at the beginning that the novel is kinda influenced by jp light novels. Therefore I didnt have much hopes for it. But it was just spectacular. I loved every single chapter of this novel and without a doubt, it's in one of my most favourite works now.

The translation is perfect, and the story, while simple, is done gorgeously!!!

The FL grows into herself (reminds me of Maxi from Under the Oak Tree) and the ML is there to help her every step of the way. The side chracters are also written beautifully.

I think this story wasn't bad. It's a bit angsty in the first 20 chapters but it got better for MC after that. The way she accepted the reality and became stronger was realitic too. In the other words, her change wasn't abrupt and we could see how she came to that point.

One thing that made me unsatisfied was the ending. It just felt so incomplete for me.

After the author teased us with the possibility of Elle and Crown Prince also Ian and Keena became couples, in the end, not even side stories provided for both of them. I don't know if they really ended up with each other. The curiosity really killed me.

But I love Irene's side story. I just hope that she could make up with MC after all those years because unlike her other siblings, she really repented herself and became a better person.

Quite the satisfying read. It's only the first 20 chapters that were quite unbearable to read due to her family but, as the female protagonist learn just how despicable her family was, her actions in ignoring them were quite satisfying. The romance is good too, there isn't much misunderstanding and angst between the main couple. Rather, I find their relationship light hearted and easy to read. Her relationship with her new family is good too. Give this story a go if you like this type of genre.
