While some of the success the MC (and the idols he nurtures) achieves is coincidental, a lot of it rides on simply doing the things that he knows to be successful from before his regression.

And as manager regression novels go, I'd say this is done fairly well. There's not much translated yet, but it's been entertaining.

The characters haven't been explored in depth yet and their emotions are still somewhat superficial, but it's hard to say if that's a trend that will continue or if it's just because there hasn't been any room for it. At this point, it's basically still the primary solo debut arc.

So far, there have been few bumps in the road and there would need to be some more to keep it interesting rather than simply becoming a list of successes without meaning, but given that this is still the start of the story, it's not strange that they haven't needed to overcome any real challenge. If it was that difficult from the start, traders may have doubted the premise of the idols' talent after all, and there wouldn't have been any potential to raise the suspense later on.
