Palcemith. A kingdom blessed by the dragons.

I remembered this was the world in the game I had played in my previous world, [The Dragon and the Sacrificial Priestess]. But I had reincarnated as the Prime Minister Anderheim who would be led to ruin with his villainess daughter Julieta.

However, now that my memories have returned, I do not intend to give up that easily.

Making full use of my memories from my past life, with my daughter, let me show the capture targets how to turn the tables.

I'm guilty of rooting for the anti-heroes.

4 star because I like the story and the translation. ^W^

this story is surprisingly good for a Japanese Isekei with a court intrigue/ politics focus. The MC is interesting and clever and the story looks to be heading into darker territory. The ML hasn't shown up yet and from the other reviews, it won't happen for a while so I can't comment on him yet. For what it's worth, I like this better than any of the other Japanese Isekei I've tried to read on this site so far. I hope the quality keeps up through to the end.

A fun series. For those looking for an openly evil MC, who openly bamboozles the naive and idiotic otome capture targets, this is the story for you. Yet as much as the MC admits to being evil (at least in his own mind), he still comes across as a good man to the readers. This is a ridiculously fine line to tread, yet both the author and the translator manage it well. Thank you!

Arghh, where's my next show?! The premise seems interesting, with MC as father of the villain. Thanks to great author and translator.

I loved the beginning of the book.

Note what I said, beginning.

The First few chapters were promising and had very very villanous tonality and vibe, but I was a little bit underwhelmed when it came to the transition of Julieta (The first transition from many) because it was just sudden. No alterior motifs to support such a drastic change. I was a bit peeved about that but brushed it aside for the time being. My main dissatisfaction about the book is the ships and how they start.

This is a book about... more>> revenge, right? A book about an evil prime minister MC who supported his daughter's "Heinous acts" (Albeit over exaggerated by the view point of the supporting characters. Seriously, who wouldn't want a homewrecking bit*h to suffer? All the while the Fiancé is supporting the homewrecking, ofc you'd be salty.) that gets abbrieved by a bunch of bumbling buffoons? If so, then why are they trying to cozy up with said bumbling buffoons? I would rather see Kharis (The ancient Dragon) x Anderheim (< tbh this was what I expected, not this >) than Jolga x Anderheim since it just goes agaisnt what the sypnosis said.

A revenge plot. A revegnge plot designed to drag the "Heroes" through a hell scape before they can enjoy the "Heaven" they 'worked' for. It wouldve been fun to see such a promising story take the risk instead of compromising. Two factions, one consisting of The dragon and the villains and the other the Self-justified heroes, fighting for the last bit of happiness left in this stretch. That should've been the plot rather than "Blame it on the commoners who showed their true birth nature after losing". I'll continue to read, hopefully finding a stablizing point.

I'll just edit this on what chapter I dropped this on and give a quick summary on what happened then onwards from chap 31. Though, I might not stay true to this if the book just keeps lowering in quality. If a scenario like that happens I'll just drop with with the intention of trying to forget the sausage party it became. <<less

It seems like you're looking for a refined version of your feedback on a story. Here's a polished version:

"I thoroughly enjoyed the narrative. The author demonstrates a profound grasp of human complexity, presenting characters that aren't strictly defined as either entirely virtuous or malevolent. They exhibit a range of behaviors, capable of being both good and bad under different circumstances. This nuanced portrayal adds depth to the story, making it more relatable and engaging.

What particularly stood out was the thoughtful resolution of the first volume. It concluded in a way... more>> that felt satisfying and logical, even if it didn't adhere to the traditional happy-ever-after trope. This approach to storytelling invites readers to appreciate the journey and the complexities of character development.

I would recommend giving this series a chance. The blend of realistic character dynamics and a compelling plot makes it worth exploring. It offers a refreshing take on storytelling, where characters evolve based on their environments and decisions, rather than being confined to simplistic archetypes." <<less

MAKE SURE YOU READ THE TAGS. And the warnings the translators are kind enough to put at the top of some of the more.... questionable? triggering? chapters.

Reading this novel, there is one thing to really keep in mind- the MC is to an extent, evil. This is NOT the standard transmigration/awakening and then face-slap and fix everything w/ heroism. This is a "how to use the knowledge I now remember to my best advantage and play the world so that it suits my tastes". Given all that, it's actually quite... more>> mild and kind.

It was pretty easy (for me at least) to figure out who the ML was though I wasn't sure for a little bit- when it was confirmed, I thought it made sense. The others didn't rly match.

I sat on this novel for a while but I'm so glad I read it. 5 stars is all for the plot. I did skip a couple chapters because (thank you translators for the warning), there were a couple bits I didn't feel like reading that are on the darker end of the dark tag, but I was curious the entire way. Side characters are rather bland compared to MC but that's been common w/ many J novels I've read so I was expecting that, and it really did push the focus to the MC's actions and thoughts. Heads up to future readers that V2 actually takes place during the epilogue of V1! It's super interesting though, and explains the ending a little more, so highly recommend. The contents are arguably less dark in terms of the stuff the MC did in V1, but it's quite emotionally heavy at times. <<less

I probably just got wayy into it because of my emotions its literally almost sunrise and I am sobbing? Yeah. I kinda didnt like the way the narration, storytelling etc was written, it was confusing at times and a little out of place?.. The changes the characters went through are wayy too fast, some characters were generally just idiots. The plot is predictable. Either way it was a quick read for me and it hit me me where it hurts.

The mutt is an idiot boy why would you

I love this story.

I will admit though it has some plot holes and not very good character development. But in response to one reviwer’s criticism, I will say that the MC’s daughter did not suddenly become good, the MC taught her to act good and she liked acting that way.

Another not so good thing are the darker topics like bestiality, child ab*se, and in*est (kind of). I also did not agree with the moral compass the MC.

Now onto the good stuff!!!!

The MC and ML’s relationship is the highlight of the story in my opinion. Especially at chapter 64, I cried at that part. I liked the plot of the story, it was very interesting. There was epic face slapping which I am a fan of as long as it’s not too overdone, which this story did not have a problem with. The MC is very OP, although he is not omniscient.

It has a lot of elements I typically like in a story - scheming, cunning, complex manipulation and revenge plots - but I had to drop it halfway in, as this story lays it on pretty thick with the melodrama the characters get into as the schemes unfold, and for all that there's a lot of complex elements in the plot it all seems a little too simple and contrived for my tastes.

This story is definitely satisfying if you're looking for one where yes, the canonical game good guys are revealed to be entitled, cruel or horrifically ignorant when things don't go as they expect, while the canonical game bad guys look like tragic, suffering unsung heroes. This story is pretty clear about what it is from page 1: a couple of schemers overturning the plot on protagonists too simple-minded to see through any of it. But If you're looking for a story with more nuance, shades of gray, and real challengers to the schemer's plots and goals, look elsewhere.

On a side note, the BL subplot feels kinda like the author just threw it in without much real buildup and had it go from "oh okay I can see this pairing developing eventually" to "wait they're boinking each other already??". The s*x scenes read like typical yaoi smut oneshot material too, and the dialogue in them were OOC enough to break my suspension of disbelief about the pairing's boink speed and chemistry.

Also.... gave me a bad taste in my mouth how this story treats its teenage female characters? They're either petty b*tches who will do the worst thing possible in a situation the second they get the opportunity to, or gentle, delicate misunderstood angels who can do no wrong. And the middle aged male main character manipulates one impoverished teenage girl into a life of horrible chronic pain, drugs, s*xual ab*se and eventual soul-death-coma as part of his revenge... Even if you can argue that doing some underhanded stuff was necessary to protect himself and his daughter, going to that extent is super f*cked up, and it's even more f*cked up that the author does everything in their power to justify it and make it seem like this kid deserved every second of it.

I am not finished yet, but just wanted to say that this story naive and unrealistic, more like a fairy tale (18+ fairy tale 😁) than a fantasy. Their plan would work only if everyone except MC is s*upid. Ok, whatever...

And most of the relationships were really questionable... and logic was questionable too... and some innocent ppl got hurt during revenge. And ... more>>
Spoiler

why did Nasha's sisters did that to her??? And as a woman I want to say that r*pe is a terrible sort of revenge which I WOULD NOT WISH TO ANYONE, I would prefer death. So I kinda felt sorry for all the characters who suffered it no matter how bad they were. It is just terrible, terrible! I am not complaining about r*pe in general here, 95% of danmei with s*x scenes is closer to r*pe than love making and I still read it, but MC was an accomplice in at least 4 ppl being r*ped by other ppl and 1 more person addicted to drugs so much that they let other ppl take advantage of their condition and have s*x with then. And this kind of calculated r*pe is even more terrible than r*pe of passion. Anyway I am talking nonsense, I just felt sorry for those ppl, esp some of them were innocent.

So in overall it was interesting enough that I read it all, but I did eyeroll and facepalm a lot while reading. It was short at least. <<less

This is a good novel albeit there are some irregularities like how the characters changed all of a sudden. The romance between ML-MC is kind of unsatisfying for its like 'they have sex' and that's it they become lovers not minding that there's a past relationship between the ML and the late wife of MC. More so, I think the most innocent characters here was the siblings of the former 'protagonist'

Overall it's good how the fvck up farce continue and the title definitely significant on the story.

So im looking for male MC reincarnate to be father with kid/s but then im reading chapter 8 and I saw the TLs note, ohh my god it's BL hahahahaha I didn't notice because I'm to excited to read this.

Talk about coincidence since I also like BL.

Once I finish this I might give a real review about the novel unless I get lazy.

But for the TL 5 stars for me good translation 👍👍, but a little bother opening each chapters because its in google docs but I can manage and... more>> still thankful because it's free.

Thank you Translator.

So..... I finish it, I actually like the ending since I read some reviews, im worried that imma get slap in the face with angst in the ending but thank god it something that I don't considered as bad ending but its not really a "they lived happily ever after" ending.

Their some warnings for future readers but the translator give some forewarning for more severe tags in each chapter that has it so its okay I guess.

I dont want to give some specific info from the story because I might end up giving some spoil and I don't wanna do that.

So thats all, like the story not for all readers thats for sure, 10/10 for translation and warning in the chapter.

It's for 3.7 ⭐

The beginning of the plot is very good and interesting, it fascinates me, unfortunately when the nsfw chapter starts the author seems to reduce the quality of his writing to the plot. Her portrayal is too raggy and the "punishment" for Nasha's relatives is far-fetched. There are still many imbalances in political causes and effects, even though at the beginning of the chapter it became an interesting reference to make me as a reader curious and want to continue reading. I guess only one nsfw would feel... more>> forced, but all chapters of NSFW should never be there and just focus on plots with better slowburn. Really regret the plot was so good at first it got so raggy later on. Oh and regarding the bl**job when ML didn't even shower 3 days kinda gross 😂 <<less

Gah, the ending! A bittersweet read to pass time. The characters had substance, the plot engaging and the romance were charmingly twisted.

If you're not in the mood for dark plots, give it a chance when you do ;)

I SUPER SUPER SUPER SUPER love this hahaha as someone who loves smart villains and they are the MC lol

I kinda get disappointed about the sudden spurt of romance to the ML that I didn't expect since I want the certain someone (too bad unromancable) but I turn to love their relatioship as it progresses even though their relationship is hella poisonous lololol. It's my take to it but may be unpleasant to you.

I just love the MC so much......

I remember looking forward to the updates of this novel after reading up to chapter 40 when it wasn't still finished translating. Picking it up now, I don't know why but after just a few chapters in continuation, I couldn't grasp the previous enthusiasm. Maybe some comments spoiled it for me that I grew apprehensive. Still, maybe I'll go back to this in the future and read it all over again in one go.

Ps. I really loved how MC twisted everything. Haha.
