I really liked the story and when there was an indicator of +18 sorry but I didn't read it, I think there were important parts that I miss but even so I like the story

I loved it! I read it through one setting. This is plot heavy without the romance taking the main stage which is something I usually look for in a bl. However, at the same time, I did not like it. It was REALLY dark as I read further on and I was glad it was mostly vague. I like to skip around those parts because they were a bit disturbing. Another thing is that there were a few plot holes and illogic moments but it was not a big deal.... more>> But the ending for me was a bit iffy because it felt so vague and open. I tend to like conclusive endings. In conclusion I loved it but I also have mixed feelings about it. <<less

I mean, it's a fun and entertaining story. Reading the characters plot and scheme is very intriguing. I've always been slightly partial to Japanese BL over the vastly more abundant Chinese BL, and I was slightly excited as I started reading this novel. It certainly delivered in terms of quality, at least for my standards, and the intelligence and cunning shown by the main character is always a joy to read, but their questionable moral integrity and hypocrisy puts me off from liking them a bit. So, you can imagine... more>> my disappointment at my realization that I might not like this story that much despite knowing of its quality.

Still, I'll keep reading for the story, but I'll deduct 1 star for the displeasure I'll feel as I read on. <<less

It's a very funny story, with a clever MC.. The translation is also very good.
