Cross, a young man who served the Holy Church and worked as a priest, was one day suddenly expelled from the church.

This was because it was discovered that he was a human with the blood of the “Demon Race,” said to be descended from the “Evil God,” and was deemed an “unclean being” by the church.

“That’s fine by me! To pronounce expulsion without even considering all the work Cross has done, based on such foolish prejudice! We’ll leave this church of our own accord! Right, Cross?”

“Please calm down, Goddess.”

In fact, Cross had been able to see and converse with the goddess of this Holy Church, Eleonora, for some time. The goddess, who was infatuated with Cross, was furious at his expulsion and even left the church to follow him!

Now free, Cross still wanted to use his power to help people, so he decided to become an adventurer for the time being.

However, Cross, who possesses immense magical power derived from the “Evil God,” his “Light Magic” is extraordinary. Despite joining the party as a support and healer, he ends up protecting his fellow adventurers and playing an active role in battle.

Even so, Cross himself is only interested in helping people with his pure heart, trying to use the “magic stones” he receives as rewards to create magic tools that are useful for people’s lives.
