3 stars. I really didn't care for it but I can see other people enjoying it.

The story is about the build up to a teenage girls confession. It's told in an almost stereotypical voice of what the author thinks a young girl is like. I was quite surprised it didn't have the mandatory "SQUEEEEEE" or rolling around hugging the pillow. The best way I can describe this style is fake and irritating.

I can't say if the style killed it for me, but I just didn't feel the buildup or tension... more>> in the romantic aspect of the story. It just went mostly on rails start to finish.

Bottom line: Flip a coin, or look for something that sounds like it will be great. <<less
