So far I don't have major complaints about the plot, but writing is confusing, especially in the last few chapters (30-35). Confusing time skips, too many characters for this few chapters. I get what the author trying to do, but very frequent and some times unnecessary flashbacks confuse me.

Now to the plot. Too much non-MC POV that preemptively try to create narrative that MC ab*sers also victims. Implying that they can't be 100% blamed for it

His dad heavily prioritised work over family.

His mom left alone with her struggles was afraid that MC would suffer he is not good enough.

Emperor didn't interfere in the "children fight".

Empress so far seems to be a doormat who just follows her husband.

Generally every hero has like a war PTSD

Princess/fiance implies that everything she did was because she loves him and wants better for him.

Prince has inferiority complex because of his sister and takes it out on MC

People seeing how all those close to MC treat him like sht foolow the lead

And MC just left stuck there.

And that why so far it's 3/5 for me:

-1 for writing

-1 for whitewashing

I will drop this if MC will actually forgive any of them without believable reason.

Now I am at chapter 56.

Story is going downhill. Now we mostly read about MC. It's boring, very boring. Story moves very slow. Confusing writing intensified. At least whitewashing stopped.

The only interesting part of the story was the drama. And now there is none. I expected a huge time skip, so we could get to the meat of the plot, but nope. I have to read this pointless training arc in a drama centered story
