This novel's story is very wholesome and exciting. The story exceeded my expectations.

At the beginning, I rated it 3 out of 5, but as I continued reading, the story kept getting better and better!

That's why I gave it a 5/5 by the end.

... more>> Maybe those who gave it low ratings only read the early chapters. But try reading until at least the end of Volume 1. It's really thrilling!

One reviewer already explained the wholesome relationship between the main leads, and I agree with them. The relationship between Yinyue and Yuluo is truly adorable and heartwarming.

Since that reviewer covered it, I'll discuss another aspect of this novel: the action scenes.

This is a fantasy novel where some characters have superpowers. The action scenes are also very thrilling. Honestly, I started reading this novel because it's a yuri story, but I didn't expect the action to be so exciting!

I'm convinced this is because of the excellent translation.

I could visualize what was happening during the battles. In many action novels, it's hard to follow the fight scenes, but not in this one. It's really well done.

Thanks to the translator, your work is fantastic!

I'll review Volume 2 once all the chapters are out and read them. I'm not like those who review after only reading 10 chapters (sorry, but you're misinforming people about the real story).

I have high expectations for Volume 2. The translator gave a few spoilers, mentioning a dance scene, a wedding scene, and a confession. I'm really looking forward to that.

Volume 2 Chapter 19 is my favorite chapter so far.

As Yinyue slipped into bed, she felt the warmth of Yuluo's embrace encircling her, a comforting reminder of their unbreakable bond.

In that moment, Yinyue couldn't help but respond to Yuluo's embrace. She was gently pulling Yuluo closer into her arms. In the embrace of each other's warmth, the two girls drifted into a peaceful slumber.

Waiting for the first rays of morning sunlight to appear, they would wake up from their dreams, opening their eyes to see the person they loved in front of them.

Yinyue finally gathers the courage to be honest about something that's been bothering her for ages. This moment truly opens up a path that I thought was closed off in their relationship. And most importantly, at the end of the volume, they finally confess their feelings to each other.

I'm really enjoying the story so far and looking forward to the future chapters.

The plot unfolds a year after MC (Yinyue) leaves her young lady, Xiao Yuluo. But before Yinyue leaves her young lady, she truly makes her young lady fall in love with her. There will be a few flashbacks interspersed throughout the story about their relationship in the past (but it's not excessive, and I think the amount is just right. From here, we can see how their chemistry developed).

The novel's story can be divided into two parts.... more>> The first part is the wholesome, comedic, romantic relationship between Yinyue and Yuluo, which I find truly enjoyable.

The second part deals with serious matters related to certain cults. There will be mysteries and anticipated action within it.

I really like the interaction between the two main characters. It's as if they are destined for each other.

Thank you to the translator, Little Tangerine.

Little Tangerine, you're one of the best translators here. Your translations are quick, neat, and exceptionally great. The choice of words and structured sentence patterns make it easy for readers to understand and visualize the story in their minds.

It's not everyone's cup of tea, but if you enjoy wholesome and cute romance, I highly recommend reading this novel.

Yuluo is really possessive, lol. But it's not the annoying kind of possessiveness. She's the type who wants to own something but also remembers to take care of it.

Yinyue is really cold and indifferent to others here. But when it comes to Yuluo, she completely changes, 180 degrees. Even though she knows Yuluo has certain "intentions" towards her, she deliberately lets her young lady do those things.

Just be honest with your feelings already!!

Unfortunately, this novel falls into the weird space a lot of Chinese novels are in where the author just makes things happen to/by characters with little rhyme or reason.

It's quite hard to tolerate to be honest, since you don't get any time to learn about the characters before the story blows into the next contrived setting for plot advancement.

The translation by Tangerine is stellar as always, but this novel falls short.

I like yuri and does not mind genderbender but there are limits.

A quick warning for people out there like me, MC here can be a male and a female, It seems the love interest desires her/his female side but I can't really tell accurately... does not seem like she mind the male MC either.

I am personally not into genderbenders that can make them transform back and forth... feels very inconsistent for me and does not really feel like yuri anymore. And needless to say, MC here totally claims and wants... more>> to be his original gender which is male. <<less
