The first thing I feel like I should mention, is that this novel is like a “slop” type. That type of novel where you just turn off your brain and don’t think too much about what happens, and why it happens.

It’s a harem novel with to this point that I’ve read, 3 members, of which only one has started doing some satisfying yandere stuff and the other 2 are like jealous/possessive at best.

The way things happen in this novel are just so annoying. The MC possesses a side character and... more>> wants the “real” MC to follow the harem route of the original work. Bro legit takes the XP and relationship events by accident and pure coincidence from the author and doesn’t act proactively at all to fix things. It just conveniently goes his way.

I think you’re better off reading another novel and I would’ve given this a 1/5 if it wasn’t for the cute maid who turns yandere. <<less

I could not for the life of me get past even 3 chapters.

The piece is extremely overwhelming in its conveniences. It reads not only akin to a power fantasy but also one tinged with victim mentality.

The maid is cute and her struggles are worthwhile, but the way it's been used as a backdrop to sell the protagonist's benevolence is a little sickening. This subplot might be revisited, but frankly I'm too jaded to even try.

The protagonist is a generational talent, but the reason he's so talented isn't rooted in anything... more>> believable, novel, or even remarkable.

While I used to greatly enjoy this trope, my World Teacher days are 10 years ago.

There are ways to make it work. Many, in fact. But I simply don't have the ability to stick around that long.
