I’m the Professor in Charge of Villainesses in Romance Fantasy

I’ve reincarnated as the professor for the heroines in a female-oriented romance fantasy novel.

I was planning to enjoy a sweet daily life with the female lead, but the class assignment went wrong.

For now, it's hard to tell if it will turn good or bad. It will probably be an average read. I'm still curious at this point, but one thing is certain: the first chapters are terrible, so you have to read at least until chapter 4 to get a feel of what the story will really be like. The author really didn't seem to know where he/she wanted to go with this...

In these first chapters, the plot and MC make no sense.

He was transmigrated three years before the start of... more>> the novel's story and worked hard to become very OP (the original character wasn't OP at this point, just had the potential). Still, he decides to hide not only his power but also his true personality to match the clumsy awkward personality of the original character. The reason? He doesn't want to create any variable. And why is that? Because the MC seems to confuse love for a character and love for a person. Basically, in the original novel his character didn't end up with the heroine, which was considered the only possible happy ending for him (he was forced to reject her and she moved on). So, after transmigration, the MC believes he needs to end up with the heroine in order to reach his own happy ending. But why? He's not the original character, after all. I could understand wanting to help the heroine, but why do you want to end up with her even before interacting with her, especially since the novel's heroine looks like a child apparently (the MC is an adult AND a teacher, she's a freshman student...) ?

Furthermore, even though the novel's story deviates from its course on day 1 after entering the school, and he doesn't really intend to follow the original script perfectly to begin with (actually, he's not even putting that much effort into hiding his power when it clearly seems to be the right move), he still tries to keep the original character's personality, which makes no sense considering the class he has to teach because of the deviation (they are villains walking all over him).

Also, he hates villains, but let's be honest, his personality is terrible. He is very self-serving and doesn't care about anyone. He doesn't consider others as people and hates the novel's villainous characters as if he were the original bullied character himself (I mean, you can dislike your fiancée since she is a terrible person, but why hate her since she didn't do anything to you personally?). He doesn't care for his students at all, or his family, and doesn't plan to do his job properly. He doesn't say "they can't be reformed", on the contrary, while knowing they can be reformed (and, therefore, change before actually becoming villains and getting killed), he says he doesn't want to reform them since, in his view, they are just tools to awaken the heroine's power and let him hook up with her.

Still, let's say it's OK, but based on what we know of the original story so far, it actually seems extraordinarily easy for him to reach his desired ending: In the original he was confessed to by the heroine but had to reject her because he was blackmailed by one of the villains, plus he had a trauma caused by his ex-fiancée. Both things are easily avoided by our OP MC (he had no reason to be traumatized in the first place, since he's not the original). Also, the heroine seems to have a thing for him already even though he is really different from the original character. And, last but not least, he really seems very OP... then can't he solve the heroine's problems all by himself? Does he still need to follow the novel's development? Plus, it has already been proven that the original novel's events are not needed to improve the heroine's power (she seems to be developing properly but from different stimuli (a yandere development seems likely)).

Anyway, his facade gets found out really quickly by key characters (including the heroine) and he instantly chooses to stop trying to match the original character's personality... which is a relief since it's so frustrating. But why start with that nonsense?

Ah, also, other things are crumbling quickly (around chapter 17). Suddenly he starts thinking that, maybe, he was a bit too hard on the villains since they're not actually villains right now and he can save them (then again, he still doesn't care at all about a really miserable girl, since her demise is needed for the heroine's development). Yep, the author clearly didn't know what he/she wanted to write, so you need to keep reading to actually know anything about this story. <<less

The novel is about a reader of a webnovel that transmigrates into one of the side characters, Daniel Crawford. Waking up 3 years before the start of the webnovel, Daniel speedruns studying magic to be able to teach as a professor at Kia del Academy. Unfortunately, Daniel is not assigned to the heroine's class, but the special class.

I enjoyed the first 6 chapters, but the story may take a turn for the worse. I recommend at least trying the first 6 chapters before assigning a rating.

1 is bad. 2... more>> is meh. 3 is good. 4 is great or personal preference. 5 is masterpiece. <<less
