I didn't know you could make a zombie apocalypse bougie but somehow this novel did it.

It's not that the characters are bad or that I didn't like the main couple. Or even the supporting cast. But the most interesting things about this novel happen in the first 20 chapters and that's about it. And the character development is pretty basic too and never explores anything deeper.

And there's a severe cognitive dissonance where the MC and ML and their friends are living in villas, have all the food, even... more>> wonder about getting a fish pond while other families are shown to be desperate and starving. Like I'm not joking when I say that for majority of the zombie novel, our main cast is having a pretty chill and rich life. But somehow the novel never points it out and instead, the villains who are shown to also be living a good life are criticised?? It's so weird to have paragraphs condemning the main villainess for wearing make-up and having multiple noodle packets to eat and wearing white fashionable clothes, while our main characters were pretty much doing the same thing. and it's boring. The MC and his friends don't even clash directly with the main human villains. Those villains just get wiped out by themselves and the MC gang just fights the occasional zombie, get stuff from outside, are lucky for getting high level powers, are lucky for being born in rich families and having connections and basically go through the novel in easy mode. Even the ending arc where the evil scientist was targeting ML just suddenly gets killed off screen. And the novel ends. Geez. And the summary was so fun and interesting. <<less

So far not bad for a zombie novel. Relatively reasonably character development, it's only 5 chapter so they only set the scene so far and the couple have a healthy relationship. So far doesn't look like it'll be something amazing, but will be a nice read that deserves more than the 3/5 star currently on it. If it does take an amazing or horrible turn, I'll update the review accordingly, lol.

Basic zombie Apocalypse novel, very short. Not much going on, some plot point was cut off and the novel just ended. The author want to cut it short.

MC and ML lovey fluffy all the way.

Vote 5 because I feels this novel deserved more views and stars.

If you are looking for face-slapping and action packed, this isn't it.

It is however, short and fluffy and I honestly just focused on the main character spreading dog food so yeah. And the side couple are cute too, I have soft spot for human x zombie X3

A very short, but very warm story. I thoroughly enjoyed it, couldn't help but pay for the full translation from the lovely TL.

Full of fluff, and just the MC and ML loving each other and going through the apocalypse. No random tragic turns, no big plot holes, and the pace of the story is pretty smooth. If you are looking for a short read about romance, power couple, going through adversity together, I highly recommend this! The translations are also of high quality ：D

Interesting novel. Had some good things (kinda liked de MC and ML and their friends) and bad things (main one being how it just brings you a super enemy, the team escapes and that's it, you don't even know anything more or how the 1st antagonist ended up).

Worth a read but don't expect much. Won't reread.

It is a very fast paced and a nice novel. The characters are all well planned out. There is also not a lot of plot holes. But the reason I reduced the 1 star was because of the villainesses.

Some of the characterizations I loved it, the ML's sister loved the way she was written. She was ruthless to the core. Others, overall not much. It seems like women here all suck except when they suck up to men. Ill go over the list, we have MC and ML stepmom, that store manager's gf, the cloth shop guy gf, I can go on all of these are bad people. When you can have 3 full gay couples in a zombie apocalypse with all of them having special abilities, surely you can have one op woman who does not suck. Other parts reek misogyny (what's with the step mom womb unable to give birth to girls, biology where)
