This is really good!

Not 3 stars, because is refreshing the way the WHOOOLE novel develops.

Not 5 stars cuz seriously Goose Five has a problem in the head, seriously nobody asked you to introduce a r*ped 100th times due to being s*upid ass dumb of a b*tch, and then go ahead and get sacrificed in a pool of blood to only remain as only some of your skin remaining, unworthy of the novel, and like this there are very slight mistakes done where you just get your head destroyed and immersion... more>> ruined, disappointing af.

It has laziness about some places that really gets you to feel like: "ah, so here too ah you lazy b*tch, some here again". But then again, it doesnt influence in the main point of the novel or messes with any character, sigh, but there is still some laziness around.

Now, for tournament, get the thing that gives you power, go to realm to get things legendary... NAAAAAAAAAAH, f*ck that, here everything goes however MC wants it, oh so he needs to risk his life inmensely to save his darling thatll forget him once saved, lets do it (didnt even hesitate in any part of the story) now thats some reall full balls mah nibba.

And there is many many developments that are as amazing as that, and best of all. Characters ARENT FORCEFULLY IMPORTAAAAAAAAAAAAAANT, I or**sm everytime I remember reading these 1230 chapters, thats so good. So for example:

The girl from before, stays for 200 chapters or so into the story after that thingy happens and then she goes missing, ofc she went with the idea of getting stronger to be with him, but thankfully, G5 knows how to respect his novel *sighs in satisfaction*. There are many many good characters who go to their own path and die... is really a touching thingy, like the senior sister from that girl I don stop talking about goes very early in the novel to a place where you can get tons of shit, and there are very few of her level, but the path to enter is very narrow so only those at her level can enter while massacring everything and everyone else around to go faster and faster in search for treasures. Then is never talked about, whether she got* something, and then came back and had her own sect and beautiful things or f*cking died. Is good because it doesnt try to show you a view of everything which becomes harder to accept and easy to get bored.

No, because what we want is not only the MCs story but of the whole novel, if it was only about the MC then it would never be a worthy novel *COFCOF I eat shit*.

But, menwhile there is details like these, there is the mayor point from where this novel is highlighted... Dao.

Indeed, Dao here becomes extremely important the more the novel progress, and at some point -besides finding his beloved wifey and lover (cuz of f*ckyou fate) - is to achieve the Dao thats not only his in the whole everything, but the one he created, the real Mortal Dao, and not a pseudo one which is in fact, called "Dao of Mortals". Is incredbile how it becomes and stays forever through the whole novel ^_^.

Well, the ending, was beautiful. No doubt, what is about¿ Oh, no its not because of MC or his group of people only, is because of a damn unexpected, wonderful and inspiring twist, which involves: sacrificial, reunion, strength and -most important- devotion. <<less

Enjoyed this story and would recommend reading it to pass the time. That is, as long as you don’t mind a feeling of incompleteness at the end and lots of standard tropes. As others have mentioned, the ending could have used a couple more chapters to make it feel more like an ending. I honestly didn’t realize I finished the novel until a week went by with no updates and I finally looked here to see the last chapter I read was the actual last chapter. Sigh. Deduct 1 star... more>> for the “ending”, but overall, I enjoyed it. <<less

A Good Novel with a bad ending

Immortal Mortal is a good novel with a story which piques my interest as it has a concept of a man who is mortal becoming an immortal

It may seem generic but the plot tends to change throughout the story. It has space wars, alchemy, cultivation etc..

That all seems well but the biggest problem I would say is the romance part or the women in the series.

The girls have an okay personality description but the main issue is the splitting up, The main character tends to stay away from the girls for hundreds of chapters especially his wife whom he couldn't find from mid way to the end.

I would say its good in some circumstances but even add the servant girl Yan'er who from the beginning had

(1) lost her memory

(2) been separated from the mc

(3) has been forgotten about for most of the series.

Its alright to say that the main character was "cheating on his wife" with the other girls, but to be honest he hasn't seen his wife for nearly 30, 000 years, I would even go crazy. At least he stayed loyal (to an extent).

That's the women part, the MAIN problem with the series in which it gave me the biggest headache was the ending. The ending was so bad to the point I wished I never read the novel in the first place. Here is why.

The ending was the biggest plot, Mo Wuji is a sage and had created his own universe, however, the reunion between him, his wife, yan'er was so mediocre to the point that it was practically irrelevant.

The series also ended in a cliff-hanger, but I wouldn't even call it a cliff-hanger as it was mid-conversation and the author claimed it to be an "open-ending" which shocked me.

In conclusion, the series was written well for many arcs especially the "Star Lord Mo Wuji" part which I admired since who else can be called a frickin' Star Lord. <<less

I give it 3 stars because I liked the first hundreds chapters but now I think that it could been written better, there are too many plots left unresolved, the bad guys well they are all born from the same mold none of them are originals.

You could litterally rename the novel "the law of murphy" and by reading a few chapters you'll understand why, as long as something can turn bad it will necessary do so.

Every character there are so poor that as long as they see that the ML... more>> possess some kind of treasure they are all eager to end his life and plunder him like no tomorrow.

And the plot is used and reused everytime, for that I will quote kjoke:MC goes somewhere -> some random guy suddenly gets offended to the point where he has to kill the MC at any cost ->MC flees somewhere -> Repeat. <<less

First hundred chapters is good and interesting in my opinion.

The cultivation system is clear and easy to comprehended, side job also good and some skill arts are unique.

I give it 3 stars because this novel actually has more points which could be improved to makes it 5 stars for me.

But after that comes too much plot, and the fast changing world background with new powerful enemies, with a lot of MC ways of doing things so unreasonable makes the story goes downhill..

The romance in this novel is bad. MC is too s*upid with woman, and too many woman just passed by in a few chapters just too be forgotten lately (even his first servant girl is missing for almost 800 chapters)

And the biggest mistakes author makes with the story is timeskip without any good improvement for MC (just lvl up few lvl).
