In big obvious point you can see how Good our ML are. But you can't say MC doesn't deserve him. Just because it's from MC's pov doesn't mean we know exactly what he really feel in psychological sense.

Our MC was just super flawed person who were desperately need money for his one and only beloved biological family.

Our ML also just ordinary human who didn't know what MC were thinking in his gloomy state.

Mixed feelings, very melodramatic, but since it's a short story, the extremely dramatic misunderstandings (imo I would've dropped it like hotcakes if it had been a full-sized novel) were thankfully quickly gotten over.

ML is honestly too good for the MC lol. MC is incapable of communicating his real feelings... tbh he wronged the ML way more than he supposedly wronged his bro...

Premise is something I usually like (hidden/secret identity, breakup/reunion, etc.)

Depressed Mentally unstable Suicidal MC. Self Suffering. Misunderstandings. Angst. It's really good. I read this while at the peak of my period and the tears won't stop. Uwaaah my heart. It's... it's so bittersweet. ML boo thank you for being there for MC < (ღಥ ⋏ ಥღ) >. Overall, I'd say that it was a really great short read!

Angsty short story with a happy ending.

Tropes involved: “Fall for me” bet, stand-ins, mistaken identity and some family drama.

I don’t want to spoil it since everything ties together nicely at the end. I just really like how ML is devoted to the MC and stays with MC, supporting him to heal from his trauma.

It has a really sweet romance with angst.
