I love this story. I don't know why you're all nitpicking about a plant who became human. It's an interesting plot and world building but it just gets kind of boring after a while.

The MC doesn't seem to be getting any character development and ML doesn't seem to have a personality outside of his guilt about his juvenile lover and being a Marshal.

I think this could be enjoyable if it were shorter like Interstellar Species. It's a nice read for in-between but it's just too long.

4.6 stars. A funny and interesting read. Just to clarify, the MC looks young but is in fact much older. There is a misunderstanding that he is a child because he looks 12 or 13 and lacks knowledge about the world he fell into. Well, for creativity, this book is worth 100. But for the plot, that was not very satisfying. The beginning was good. I binge read. But later the plot got boring. I mean the MC did not fully integrate with the new environment. He is all about himself like the world rotates around him. And characters were bland. There was humour but it was very silly at the same time. Later it was all about making babies which made it really bad. The whole thing is about babies.

Fluffy, Slice of Life set in an interstellar world. MC is a spirit plant (a ginseng spirit, to be more specific), that threw himself into a wormhole to escape some rotten cultivators wanting to eat his nourishing body. His body ends up landing in an interstellar world, where he’s mistaken for the the fiancé of the near-death Marshall (ML) that the Human Federation admires. CHARACTERS: 9/10

Although the characters here are pretty much your typical types, they’re still pretty charming and have fun and quirky personalities. There’s lots of side characters involved too, but the author has a talent for making them memorable despite brief appearances.

Ren Sheng (MC)

Innocent!Shou. He’s 100, 000 years old physically but his mental age is lower than most characters. His physicality makes him pretty OP — to the point of Gary-Stu-ness — but his quirky personality makes him likeable!

Zhou Lingyu (ML)

Domineering!Gong who is warm to the MC but plenty cold to everyone else. He’s also pretty OP, though he starts off weak because an incident had caused havoc in his body (forcing him to live in pain and with an uncooperative body).

ROMANCE: 7.5/10

The romance in this story is a bit of a personal taste thing? The shota tag makes this pretty clear 🤧 I don’t personally mind since the MC is actually older than the ML and capable of consenting, but if him looking like a teen bothers you, then best not read it!

SETTING: 10/10

This is set in a world where there are humans with special abilities (similar to the types you see in Zombie Apocalypse novels LOLOL), and these people have a difficult time giving birth. For the interstellar age; where people live hundreds of years, this is pretty troublesome. The arrival of the MC shakes things up a lot and contributes to the plot greatly — making the setting stand out.

PLOT: 7.5/10

I enjoyed the plot at first, that’s for sure. But the ending arc is pretty boring (which is why I stopped reading). I think I was satisfied at around the ch. 90s. I would have stopped then, but decided to push a little more until I eventually gave up right before the end 😂. Anyway, as mentioned, the main plot is the pregnancy issue and the MC’s unique background as a spirit plant that lived in a cultivation world for thousands of years.

RATING: 4.2/5

Although I didn’t finish the story, I think positively of it! I didn’t expect to like it so much, but the Setting really captured me! Highly recommended for that reason~!

RANDOM THOUGHTS:

• Personal Enjoyment: 4.5/5! This was really surprisingly very good! Unexpectedly fun to read. Has a sort of awkward charm.
• Literary Level: Far from a masterpiece 3/5. The writing is awkward and a bit clumsy at times. But the well establish setting and characters made up for it! As for the translation, the one I read was from OnTimeStory; which I found pretty good 👍
• Heat Level: Although there are some scenes where the Main CP (as well as Side CPs) have s*x, it’s never explicit. Most of it is fade-to-black; with only a couple suggestive parts. 1/5!!

Like the story but it goes downhill near the end.

The interaction between MC and ML is hilarious 💕 before I was wondering about the title and when I read it, tt was bc the MC is a ginseng plant and literally everything about him is a treasure.

It was cute. A bit boring sometimes. Very simple story overall. If you go into it knowing that the fic is mostly fluff with a heavy emphasis on cultural misunderstands (cause MC is a ginseng who cultivated and ML is from interstellar) and babies.

Another beautiful interstellar novel! Ren Sheng is a ginseng spirit.. Heals and save the Marshal Zhao Lingyu.. Together with their 4 children! Funny and cute novel a must read!

Maybe I dug myself a hole for this one... but I tend to see the chapter list and get a guage of what's going to happen. So reading up to 65 ish, I encountered the "villains" and I absolutely hated them... it's more of a roll eye kinda hatred, but still, I skipped a little ahead to see where the plot was going, and it turned from the slice of life with a little drama to mecha alien races fighting... which it's pretty much a 180. I was looking for... more>> more of a fluffy, full of child rearing kinda romance... there was, but the plot's meh to me. Didn't manage to keep me on.

Regarding the whole MC is so s*upid, he ain't... he's literally a plant from historical times living in a mountain... how can he have common sense. He becomes better, in the 2nd half he did mature (physically and mentally). So, if you're scared of by the other comments, don't be. And of course, if you don't mind the whole mecha business and fighting with alien races that think they're better than humans but are actually not.

A good fun light hearted read. Enjoyed reading it release to release. Not a very serious story, but it's one that I was always up for reading the next instalment of. The ending is a bit abrupt and unsatisfying, but the rest of the story was good.

The Title of the Novel is the Plot itself. MC's Existence, with the Support and Protection of ML, they gives people hopes.

The one that became the Half of the plot. Health was the First Half, and the second thing was the Second and the Last Half Plot of the story.

Rating: 3.5/5- This is a super cute novel but it’s a once off read.

The characters are cute and fluffy but there are definite shota vibes that did make me uncomfortable in some places. The story is also rather simple so it’s more of a get your mind off of life type of read.

I like babies, so of course I enjoyed the little ginseng babies and the other babies too.

Overall it’s enjoyable but I preferred the author’s other work much more (not sure which one came first actually).
