To be honest, I was hooked in the beginning chapters but then the action began slowing down and it became a bore to read through the chapters. All the characters have the dimensions of a single line, so they can't even be called 2D. I can't even find words to differentiate the various couples (and there are a lot, like 5 CPs for a very short novel) from each other because they're all like cookie-cutter versions of each other only with different names and occupations. Relationships don't have any basis... more>> except for "they feel comfortable and right" and the one relationship that was not was really scummy on the "female's" side in my opinion.

It's Merlin with Harvey. He knew Harvey wanted to be more serious with him but he still strung Harvey along when they first coupled together without any promises of a future. If you don't want to be together, then don't support any advances.

There is no drama. Any conflict is resolved in 2 chapters. As soon as the MC, Gu Yu, began transforming beast females into natural females, it just became a friends hang out with each other story and gosh are they annoying. I've read settings where the world is populated by males but with one part taking the "female role" but gosh the "females" were never read as so blushy uwu as with here.

The story had the citizens talk about how lucky the ML was to just have the MC be delivered to him because he was the only natural female at the time, and they were right. The ML could have been replaced with any other person and the outcome could have been the same because the MC was starved for love in his home world and he's so insecure, I think he'd accept anyone. <<less

i’d rate the beginning 4 for entertainement (not a great content, but good distraction)

the second half is a painful 2-

first, it’s not « yaoi » : it’s a male female universe, it just so happens the « female », absolutely looks like men, the weak kind - I should add, they also all are called « teenagers «, which makes for a disturbing enormous age difference in all partnerships : female need to wed at 20 male at 80! Patriarchal values rules strong ! Not only the « male... more>> male » thing add nothing to the story, it makes it pretty confusing to read (he, he, he ?)

Story wise :

It starts nice despite a few cringy stuff (forget it if you can’t stand a forever blushing MC, redundant information about his miserable other life and the bullying because he was mute (?? What kind of people seriously ?)

- the cast is rather nice, there are a lot of secondary characters of interest, the males are generally 2D, but nice - there could easily have been more depth, which maybe contributes to a disappointing second half

If you’re ok with that, it’s rather entertaining with the misunderstandings, the mission as well as the discovery of the world and powers and beasts, a rather slow burn romance, it got a nice pace and interesting variety of content... for a bit more than 40 chapters

if I had an advice, i’d say to stop a, s soon as you read the word « pregnant « -

After that it becomes very very dull

- the pace becomes that of a redundant slice of life, so slow and void of interest ! (Ok light fluff for tired people, but it’s lost all flavor, challenge and discovery - nada) it would have been ok, with about 15 chapters less, or some more character development, there was a lot of opportunities to use the cast for that purpose

that leaves a lot of time to feel bothered by very common tiresome trope

- the sexist flavor of chinese novel is a bit tiresome even if the intentions are to open to a society where female becomes more independent, and you can absolutely see the good intentions of the writer- There a lot of heavy misogynistic culture bias : the female start all dumb and immature, you have to endure many many chapters of obedient female nicely abiding by the rules of their hopefully benevolent male gardians, to see them grow into « married mothers », with job <- that’s the progressive part ; it’s already so little you can’t help being disappointed as the relative lack of ambition of these representation (why doesn’t the rabbit become a doctor instead of a nurse, to help her husband ?)

- again you can’t escape a stereotypical hierarchy - the ML is a prince, the besties a queen, an arch duke grand daughter, the doctor can hardly be a nobody... by some strange miracle you have a rootless peguin in the middle of a high society club, to add another commoner to the bunch - once again the political system is an empire (!) : (commoners vs aristocracy in an unequal system, even if it’s just a underwhelming background (the fake female story goes nowhere)

- becoming ridiculously rich (an by that I mean having too much money to ever be able to use it) is one of the success points of the story, being generous with that money, doesn’t seem genuinely altruistic but a one time thing to reach the mission target (seriously ?)

- as always (why ?!) even, if less obvious, you can barely escape the usual vision of intimacy that leaves female « sore and exhausted », and the still forever blushing females. months or years after wedding - of course, it pairs with forever h**ny males, the good one, with an heroic self control (!) - luckily, it’s mostly allusion and we escape painful depiction of these caricatural dids, hence we avoid the all knowing performing males, and happily submissive females (although it’s still mentioned once too)

- the pregnancy ride is just sooo annoying : can’t female reach happiness without having baby (ies) ? Do we really need to read about morning sickness (that last 3 semesters !!!! Very abnormal) , big bellies, fetal movement, and woman angst, etc... all from an author that obviously read about pregnancy, but hardly has ever been there ! Please ! (Btw, same with music : why writing so much about something you know nothing about ?)

it’s not all bad, but it’s desperately slow, weak and stuffed with archaic values - even more when it’s started rather nicely - how disappointing ? So ok, there’s still the spotted tiger love story, it’s pretty nice - it make it even sadder that there was not more of this kind of material <<less

Pretty good story!! I wouldn't call ut the peak of literature or anything, but it makes for a pretty decent casual read, so long as you're willing to look over some of the minor plot holes and weaker side plots. The characters are all very compelling and are clearly distinct from one another, and I really liked the side couples!! ... more>>

I docked a point though because some of the wording regarding the "transgender females" felt rather... well... transphobic. Idk if I'm just overthinking it or if it was just something lost in translation, but calling the males who were forced/manipulated into human trafficking and being essentially forced into a body that's gender isn't their own just feels kinda gross. It doesn't help that the people being labelled as "trans" in this story are treated like monsters/like people who need to be cured. Furthermore, the "trans female" we get the most screentime of turns out to be a pe*vert who attacks the main character in the mens bathroom. It just feels really icky to me as a trans person myself. <<less

  • Unique plot, mostly revolve around “gender”
  • There are 4 genders in this novel namely: shapeshifting male (beast to human and vice versa), beast female (male but can’t shapeshift to become human), artificial female (human female but is made/ a robot) and natural female (still male but can shapeshift from human to beast form)
  • The MC is so cute plus the ML isn’t the over bearing type. MC is OP but it’s all within the bounds.

Even if his voice can make the military/male stronger, he didn't, because doing that doesn't have to do anything with his dream to became a singer.

Sure he safe the extinct female, but he do that because at first he want to help his friends, and 2nd he realised he was too overprotected (by the people around him, not ml, ML support everything he wanna do) since he's the only female. He realised he treated like a porcelain, he can't go out (how to make concert). So if he make even more female like him, he won't become a precious extinct female, and he can move around and do anything he want.

Once there a lots of female, he stop doing it.

Everything he do, doesn't derived from his original goal, that is, to be a singer.

That what the system praised MC.

A fluffy, cute, and touching romantic interstellar beast novel.

The main character (mc) is shy & timid because of his sexuality and disability for being a mute. He saves a girl from getting hit by a car but ends up dying, then transmigrates into the interstellar beast world with a dream favorbility system. In the beginning, he was mistaken as a artificial female by the male lead, but of course, his status as a natural female soon gets figured out. He is given tasks to collect favorability points in exchange for the ability to talk. Later, the points can be used to help transform beast females into natural females.

What I like most about this novel are the interactions between the MC and other characters. You can gradually seen the growth of mc's courage and all his vivid, clever and cute traits.

His relationship with the male lead is so touching and heartfelt. You can distinctively feel the male lead's care and love towards the MC via his words of encouragement and respect towards the mc's feelings.

This novel has cute side characters with their respective good partners, and combined with the plotline, creates a cute yet colorful story. Enjoyed every chapter of it. ~ (^V^) ~ <<less

I'm not too sure how to rate this honestly, I did read up to this chapter because I'm easily entertained if there's constantly something happening, but there have been multiple things that come off as weird to me.

You'd assume by reading a bl it'd be about two men right? But not here, in the physical sense it is a bl for the most part, but all the "females" which is basically a male body that's able to give birth I guess, behave like the stereotype of a woman, at some... more>> point the MC even said he wanted other "female" friends to go shopping and go to cafes with, which sure men do too but along with everything else (all "females" look like teenagers, they're all small and cute not to mention fragile and need 3 caretakers for a single one of them, their voice makes all the males go crazy, they all act like kids) it was too much.

And this bothered me because a reason for me reading bl is there not being restrictions based on gender, a person isn't supposed to be expected to act a certain way just because of their gender. In a lot of straight novels when a woman acts weak or depends on someone everyone (in the novel) acts like it was expected because she's a woman.

I just really dislike when characters are treated like a piece of glass that's there just to be eye candy (and I got this feeling from this novel, a lot).

There were also some plotholes I noticed that kind of bothered me because I feel they made the story a little easier to progress.

So basically this read like you could switch he/him/his, with female pronouns and it would fit and be a straight novel <<less

This a really nice novel but is too much childish and that make me a little bit boring, the innocence is great but is stranger how much are the uke like a child, I know he was a person with nobody in his life and he stayed alone, but that don't need to be a reason for not has a personality character. I've seen a few reviews that talk about transphobia, Misogyny and h*mophobia that I don't really agree with. It's been a few months that I've read this one but I only have positive feeling towards it.

Yes Gender played a big role in that universe and I thought they did a good job representing many different opinions and feelings.

I can't destinctly say if the ML wasn't interested in MC in the beginning because of "getting to know each other" or just because he's straight. Either reasons would be fine.

There is a... more>> talked about transgender community, but I remember MC holding good will towards them and helping them.

The fact that the females are in animal form is never put in a degrading way I would say. They still marry and love them. But they do have this big wish to be able to actually communicate with them. They harbor good will towards them.

I would say give it a try if you like interstellar, daily life, m-preg, beast-human form, fluffyness, soft MC and protective/caring ML. The overall novel is great but obviously when the main plot point is about gender/characteristics people's opinions divide harshly no matter how it's written. <<less

Yeah "transgender" refers to the illegally transformed males in this universe but that's no excuse to make them bad guys or use that term when it means something else.

Use Enochs, transformed males, stunted males, etc. Lots of choices to refer to the stunted glands of these kids forced to pretend to be "female" sexbots.

I liked the earlier chapters better. Didn’t care much for the extras or the children either. Unfortunately this is easily forgettable, it was interesting enough to keep me reading but not enough that I would ever recommend it or read it again.

I didn't expect much since the beginning. I came for fluff and I did got fluff. The feeling I got from this story is similar to "Worship Me, I Can Make You Rich", however that one obviously has better execution.

This author tends to be more dramatic than necessary when writing the plot, so not only sensitive stuff are not addressed well, but they also become a mere tool, which may upsetting to some people.

Tbh it's normal for people to not understand those details, but for those who have wider world... more>> view or a lot of experience in life, some stuff might appear quite illogical even if you try to turn off your brain. But people's acceptance to things illogical are different from person to person, so you might not mind it for the fluffiness and the wonderful characters (for me they're wonderful).

Beside that, the premises/themes surrounding 'natural female' are fairly interesting. I don't regret reading this because it widen my world-view of fictional world, but I don't plan to continue reading.

Example of unnecessary drama & illogical stuff or bypassed detail

  • Every press conferences felt a bit too convenient and the timing felt awkward, obviously the author is not a person from PR
  • The health institution allowed the military to gather their patients somewhere to try 'some' new curing method
  • And because they also didn't know what will be done to the patients, they let the patients became mad with fear (unnecessary drama)
  • An act of su*cide in front of one's fav celebrity to get their attention along the way, and the celebrity response to it; there is no best answer at how such scene should actually be handled. (For me the author did it okay, but why using sensitive topic for drama?)
  • A person of another planet sneaking into the Marshal (and MC) 's home for a really s*upid reason and MC's feelings about it are not quite right??? Yet the intruder are just carelessly dragged out without being carefully interrogated. The MC also didn't speak up for him even though he felt a bit sympathetic before.

REAAAAD THIS!!! Our MC being lovable and a big Yesss to ML. I like how ML respects and shows his love/care for MC. He helps building up mc's confidence and encourages MC to the things he likes to do.

MC is hardworking and did his best to overcome his shortcomings. Mannn it's so hard not being able to speak and how happy he is that with his mission he can now talk. There are many charcaters and Author did a great job on not making them 2d. A worthwhile read about... more>> interstellar story😊 try it, full of fluffyness and Great MC/ML relationship + other side couples💕 <<less

Entertaining story! Especially the first 2/3.

The concept is quite similar to many interstellar stories I read that are overall rated near 4.3-4.5. So, also in terms of rating this one is more or less in line too.

--> MC transmigrates/reborn in interstellar world. He gains special abilities that are crucial. Hence, he becomes the no. 1 treasure in the interstellar world, especially OP, desired by everyone.

    • MC: though super OP thanks to his abilities (provided by system) remains a modest, shy person. In the beginning he felt very inferior due to his muteness in his first life on earth, but that slowly changes.
    • ML: Likeable, protective, smart. Not too overbearing or too exaggerated. He is the marshal, so holds a lot of power, but the focus is not so much on that aspect.
    • Side characters: quite a few. Though they all had their screen time, none of them really stood out.
    • Romance is ok, didn't stand out, but wasn't bad either. At least there was quite some romance. In many of these interstellar stories, I feel the romance could almost be left out as all focus was on OP-ness of MC, but there was a balance in this story.
LIKE:

    • The concept/formula is nothing new, but especially in first 2/3 of the story executed very well. If you like A guide how to raise your natural enemy or Lazy Merchant of the beast world, then there is great chance you like this as well
    • Interesting beast world: (a) male beast (can transform to humanoid), (b) female beast (can give birth, only beast form), (c) natural females (like female beast, but can transform to humanoid, extinct till MC arrives, have male appearance too), (d) transgender females, (e) artificial females, basically s*x robots
DISLIKE

    • After 2/3 of the story, the plot is becoming more and more slice of life, with much screen time of side characters. The side characters were ok, but didn't stand out/rather boring, so those parts felt like fillers. MC goes to their school, performs a song together with his friends at school, have BBQ together etc. --&Gt; fillers
    • MCs friends group totally felt like a girls group. Also, the topics and their behavior. As they are also seen as females in this world, so it is technically correct. But I think it is a pity they are written as a girls friend group by author. Though I don't mind a bit female characteristics, it was too much here.

Highly recommend reading if you like fluff and animals. Of which, I love BOTH.

The MC transmigrated with a system (but this system is pretty low key haha) and the ML is supposedly cold but the MC makes him melt.

I think it is a super cute story and worth the time reading!

This story hasn't kept my attention 100% of the time but I liked that some of the problems were faced head-on with preparation. I loved the side CPs, the true friendship between them and of course the babies (≧▽≦)

Things could've gone absolutely disastrous a few times so it felt a bit uncomfortable seeing absolutely nothing happening. But then again it suits the vibe of this novel so I won't go into details.

I can see why this novel is either a 5 or a 1 because despite the plot itself is interesting but the way the author wrote the genders is truly disturbing. I'm all for valuing the "female" counterpart as important but the goddamm hate on transgender female was truly disgusting to read.

Translation was excellent, as usual by Exiled Rebel Scanlations. However, the author's worldbuilding is off-putting. I did like the eventual trajectory of the beast females.

In this world, there are no females as we know it. Instead, everyone has male body parts and the difference is whether they can birth offspring and/or shapeshift.

The whole set up was confusing, awkward, and seemed unnecessary. It would have been better as a straightforward alpha-omega verse novel, rather than the convoluted male/natural female/artificial female/infantilized beast female/transgender female set up. Or even better, since it's all... more>> about females status in the world anyway, just make it a BG novel with actual women.

Anyway, I've listed the different types of people/genders below.
    • Males are big brawny shapeshifters who can't give birth. Look like men.
    • "Natural" females are small soft childbearing shapeshifters who can give birth. Look like teen boys. Now extinct.
    • "Beast" females are shapeshifters who can give birth, but they are stuck in beast form and aren't as intelligent (if they could shift to human form, then they'd be "Natural" females). All females are now only in "Beast" form.
    • "Artificial" females are robots. Rare and expensive.
    • "Transgender" females are males who were illegally altered with female hormones to be more like "Natural" females, and it makes them deranged.

I think I read this completely once and enjoyed it. Or maybe its another novel with similar plot. But anyway, I like the start of the story but gradually I was disappointed that the MC was treated like a endangered species regardless of his own feelings and opinion. Its like they knew better the MC that himself and just drown him with their affection. Specially in the when its revealed he's a natural female. MC just accepts whatever the people throw at him, whether its goodwill or ill intention.

Like in... more>> the part when he is undergoing a medical exam after his identity reveal, the association and the ML is just smothering him with care and affection despite the MC's opinion.

Dropping this.

As for the initial treatment of ML towards MC. He took home MC because he thought he's a artificial female (android). So, I don't think there's no need to question on this part. Because in ML's POV at this time, MC is a robot. Then when he thought he is one of the transgender females, he took the MC to the hospital for a check up and treatment, not to "fix" him. Because in their universe, transgenders are male victim forced to be effeminate. Of course, they need to undergo check up and treatment as being transgender is literally painful. Besides, MC is a mute so the ML suspects that he has more adverse side effects.

By same author of "Rebirth to Become the President's Omega Wife", which I loved. This one is just as heartwarming, sweet and fluffy. Some readers say this novel is transphobic and even criticise author of being transphobic and homophobic... lmao... seriously? I did not see any of that... Yes, author indeed use the term "transgender females" here but it has nothing to do with real life transgenders and the term transgender here indicates a totally different gender classification system within the context of a fictional werebeast world. On the other... more>> hand, I do agree with some comments that it seems like it's a BG novel sometimes, but it did not deter my enjoyment. This is just a light escapist fantasy, nothing angsty or melodramatic and definitely impossible to relate to reality. If the word 'transgender' is a trigger factor for you, maybe it's better to avoid reading. And please, I hope people would stop irresponsibly slandering authors. <<less
