This novel is incredible.

It was so good I had to go read the raws.

This gave very similar vibes as "Reborn as My Love Rival's Wife" except it had more character development. To a degree where I will say, at times, it seems a little much. It really feels as though the two MC's are the only people in the story sometimes as there's not even really a third character for long long periods of time. Only extremely minor characters with a couple lines at best that can barely be called... more>> an actual character for the context of the story. This can be a plus and a negative:

The positives of this is that the story, aside from the gender bender aspect, makes the characters feel extremely realistic and the happenings of the story very real. They happen just like things happen in everyday life. Nothing feels forced and it feels natural. The male lead in particular isn't your stereotypical male lead CEO with a dominearing personality, but actually feels like a normal guy.

The negatives is that, that's it. It's life, which can be pretty mundane sometimes. There's not really like a crazy EX that stirs the pot, a angry mother-in-law breathing down their necks, no love triangles, there's no real "threat". It's a light hearted story about two people, and nobody else really gets developed or does much in the grand scheme of things. That's fine, the author accomplishes what they set out to do. It's just not everybodies cup of tea.

For me personally, I really enjoyed it. These rare gender benders that actually tackle what a real relationship would be like is really rare and I appreciate how real the characters and situations are (aside from the system magic ofc). Really left me a empty feeling after finishing this novel which is pretty rare for me. Would recommend to anybody wanting a light hearted romance that doesn't really want to deal with drama. This would be forsure top 2, maybe even top 1 gender bender novels I've read. <<less

I think it’s pretty funny. The main character is a dumbass and the ML is a classic ‘smart and rich, tall and handsome’ type guy.

My main issue is the covert sexism within the story. Even though some girls are presented as ‘good’, the reason the ML is interested in the MC is undoubtedly because she’s ’not like other girls’. Whether intentional or not, some phrases in the novel put down women in favour of the MC.
