I have mixed feelings about this story. The plot is very normal. It's just a wife chasing crematorium except that the melodrama is in controlled limits. The ML is definitely a s*umbag but it's shown as him not understanding feelings like love. I honestly doubt that. He's also so scummy that I want to beat him up. I didn't want the MC to get back together with him.

The MC is a well fleshed character. He's just trying to live well and be happy. Between the lines, it seems like neither the MC not the ML ever knew what loving somebody romantically entails. The MC was very devoted to the ML and kept making concessions for him until the day he could no longer accept the fact that the person he slept next to had ambiguous relationships with others.

I am a firm believer of the statement that "people who r*pe once will r*pe again, people who cheat once will cheat again and people who ab*se other once will ab*se again". No matter how much they feel "guilty", they're gonna do it again and again. That is exactly why I didn't want MC to end up with the ML again.

but if they do end up together, good for them, ig. For all intents and purposes, ML is shown to have regretted everything. He tries hard to make up for his deeds. But I still don't feel like he's really learnt how to love. Is it love or is he just too used to the mc's presence? Well, maybe this companionship can be called love. Idk.

I was wondering why ml's family was so supportive of ML chasing the MC and felt they ahould end up together while knowing ML cheated and they didn't think anything was wrong. Then I found out that ml's own sis had a cheating husband and now they were "happily married" with a daughter. I really don't understand. How do you trust the same person again after they break your trust at such a deep and personal level? How can they walk over the efforts and feelings of the one who's supposed to be the closest to them for some momentary pleasure, trampling the sanctity of the emotional connection they have? And how and why do their partners just let it go?

I really don't understand. However, regardless of my personal feelings, I ended up rating this story higher than it deserved because some things I feared didn't happen. For example

I was so scared the MC would end up being in a relationship with that 15 yr old. Thankfully the MC was smarter than that. The ML, however.... What can I say. He definitely kissed and got frisky with an underaged boy almost half his age who was ALSO his student, and it wasn't even the first time, his first victim was the MC himself. I honestly feel like the ML deserves to be in jail. There are too many things wrong with him, and cheating on his partner was not even the worst of it all.

This is a very simple story that many may find boring. Yes, there isn't really anything extraordinary, it's basically mundane, real-life events, but this ordinary narrative somewhat caught my attention. The characters are flawed, the plot is very simple, yet the lessons from the story resonate with me. There’s a certain comfort in reading about characters who aren’t perfect, who make mistakes and learn from them.

The story itself is good, but broo.. The fact that the ML go back to the s*um male pissed me off when it's clearly there is a better option out there.. Even though I understand his mindset, as the second ML is only 15, u can just honestly bet on time and get together when he came of age. The fact that the second ML loves him melt my heart. What an OOC, why is he have a steel heart but came back to the first s*umbag option?! It's true... more>> that there is no good to show weekness such as pity. A momentary pity gonna ruin your whole life! <<less
