I fainted and woke up to find myself in a gender-reversed world. But does it even matter when I don’t leave the house anyway?

Need to preface by saying I don't watch streamers and I haven't played LoL. The two things it happens to focus on, thus puts it at a big disadvantage for capturing my interest.

Honestly it's disappointing, it's basically just a shut-in streamers diary, nearly every chapter is just a recount of how a particular stream plays out or browsing online to see what viewers are discussing. For example there's chapters explaining how a LoL match played out, which are described quite boringly. The protagonist himself is quite bland and passive, having... more>> no notable traits or quirks. Basically the only reason he gets any views is because he allows s*xual harassment from viewers and sometimes gives accidental fan service.

The gender reverse setting was why I gave this series a chance and sadly it ends up serving no real purpose beyond being the excuse to how he managed to get popular despite being a newbie streamer. The protagonist pretty much only interacts with other people online, where the viewers/commenters gender doesn't make a difference. It also doesn't really explore the cultural differences in this reversed world.

What I've enjoyed in other series with streamer protagonist was their exploration of the impact on viewers and the relationships that developed as a result, something this series doesn't offer. As of chapter 39, there has been no drama, no humor, no hint of romance (or even friendships), nor any character development. The banter with fans, which makes up most of the dialogue, is pretty dry. The only thing of note is him collabing with a female streamer and meeting her once IRL, which I'd hope would lead to something, but it seems unlikely given how shy she and the protagonist are shown to be, and the fact the protagonist insists on living as a shut-in.

So yeah, I don't think much of it. Maybe it gets better later on, but I'll likely just drop it. Also I recommend reading Gender-Reversed Golden Sun which does the concept better. <<less

I honestly found myself laughing throughout the entire thing. Unlike most "Gender-Reversed isekai", this one doesn't really focus much on the MC trying to f*ck girls, and all, because the protagonist's social anxiety is so great they he wouldn't know what to do when meeting a girl in person.

Probably not for everyone, but I at least like it, and hope the translator continues (or someone else picks it up)
