FIRST AND FOREMOST, PLEASE READ THIS—HIGHLY, VERY, VERY RECOMMENDED—AND ALL HER OTHER TRANSLATED WORKS, FOR PETE'S SAKE, WOOOOO. This might be long, might as well be considered a novel, JK. Anyways, I am a not-so-constant, mostly inactive, and yet kinda loyal fan of the translator. Kudos to you always. Thank you for the translations. I embarked on this journey since you started translating "Purely By Accident, " a must-read series too. I'm not sure if I'm... more>> doing justice to all of your translated works, or even the works themselves, or the authors themselves with this review *sobs*, but I really admire your taste in books, especially your exquisitely made translations that made me demand more series. Enough for the prelude, I think.

About this series, first of all. WHY IS THIS A ONE-SHOT ONLY, WAHHHHHHH. Who is the narrator, though? Lots of loopholes there, but it made a hole in my heart, just like the series I loved and finished in one go before. Ever since I've read your translated works, my standard for reading novels has exponentially increased. The series is good; we do have a fair share of interest in historical times—maybe we were born in the wrong time, after all, just kidding. But the translations brought it to life, especially for those who can only understand English, not the native language of the work. But hey, I love how you use terminologies and make me feel like a genius. The wordings you used are from an era far more advanced than those lowly humans; maybe they might even flag them as AI made now. But worry not; I always believe in your skills. I will always be your fan, although a covert one, hahaha. Again, THANK DOUQI FOR TRANSLATING THIS. I wasn't an avid fan of wuxia, but if it is translated by you, I will never hesitate. It would be a great favor to me if you could translate a novel with a tinge of philosophy, but that is just my whimsical request.

I haven't read all of her translated works tho teehee~~

I like this story very much.. Its neither too long or too short but just perfect and the translation is very good too. For me whose English not that good the translation is easy too understand and the footnote also helpful and I also like the translator other works, thank you so much for the translations
