I honestly cried a river while reading this. I checked up on the author to see if they wrote a sequel to it (BECAUSE THE MC DESERVES HIS HAPPINESS!!!!) I saw that they indeed have a continuation to the short story! It looks like the author's going to make a small series out of it.

The continuation is only three chapters long. Like in the description, there's no happy ending. YET. The story picks up a bit after the short story and focuses on the MC's life after the failed wedding. Like flashbacks to his middle and high school time, This one man (mtl as Raizo) who lost his wife (who was also his fated mate) and how he helps MC through some tough times since MC help him out after he lost his wife (like looking after his kids while he was mourning his wife).

Don't worry! From what I can tell Raizo and MC will not be getting together (of course).

The first chapter is all about MC and ML (Sasanami). It seems that after the wedding incident, ML sees MC as a 'comrades' (both who lost their lovers to fate) or something and have been hanging out with each other since then.

Of course, the story still ends with MC in pain (emotionally).

I was once again a crying mess after reading the second story. Since the author wrote down on the description for the second story that 'there's no happy ending yet', I'm hoping that they continue writing for it and give MC the happy ending he deserves!

Edit: It seems that the translator is working on the sequel right now so fingers crossed!

My heart has broken into a million pieces!

I really love stories where the MC is Logical and Real, like, feelings won't get in the way and impulses won't be used as an excuse; and this MC right here was just that: unselfish, logical, caring, kind, and hardworking.

Its so sad and heartbreaking, but it was so good. It's a short story, where even though almost every line is full of info, it truly, in my mind, didn't get boring. The pace was great, the concept fairly used but executed with finesse.

This short story has a twist in the end that is rather sad. That being said, it's a wonderful short story that left me wishing that the author had written a continuation to this story. I definitely want to read more! The author took a slightly different take on an omega protagonist's situation that I hadn't read before~ ?

Ah my heart. Truly a heartfelt story. I am hoping for the 2nd part to be translated since it has been published during 14 Feb which is a sad valentine's gift. Still praying for more and a happy ending.

I really love the premise and can’t help but feel bad for the MC at the end. I really hope that the author continues on with it because I want to see the direction they take it.

I think this short story isn't so bad, but it's so frustrating that it was left off at a cliff hanger!!!! The translator said that the author "might" pick it up once she is done with her current novel.

If you have free time then go ahead and read this short story, but just be warned that there isn't an ending. T.T

I've read all 3 volumes.

From start to finished, I can not help but get annoyed at how distance and polite all the characters in this novel, even when making love. They were going to make some intense lovemaking but MC is worried they are going to wake up the cat. Its not funny or endearing it's s*upid. I get it, Japanese novels all have similar tones one way or another. But man, its hard to relate when the MC is polite like a middle school boy while feeling the heart... more>> wrenching heartbreak or flustered or when he got attacked repeatedly (not saying that you can't but it making me feel MC is not real human who is processing his feelings?) MC being attacked has nothing to do with him being an Omega. Its because he is too careless with his own security and safety. Predators out there doesnt care if youre a woman, a man or a kid. As long as you gives them the chance to attack, they will. Have some awareness for godsake. Idk, maybe I would relate to his heartbreak back in my twenties where everything can get me emotional, but now meh, the depth is not there, man. Even the first volume where I see reviews of people crying, I couldn't relate. For me the angst is not that deep. <<less

Initially rated this as 4 but after rereading again decided to rate it "5".

It's very short and I know there's a sequel but it's still short. If I'm right there's 3 chapters to this madness.

It's basically about an MC giving up his soulmate because said soulmate does not like soulmate bond. However, upon marrying his chosen partner, said chosen partner realized his soulmate is the fiancé of MC's soulmate.

I really love angst and this kind of plot is really my cup of tea. But although it was really sad, I can't really go too deep because it's only one chapter. I can't really cry because of the abrupt end. And an open ending.

And I just realized that there is a sequel. But it's still not happy ending according to the translator. And the third season is where our MC get his HE. I have to wait until the third season to binge read it. Because well, reading angst... more>> and get cut off in the middle is not very good for the heart. <<less

I read this with mind, its good they separate instead from years of painful relationship. Damn, I got tricked. The pain not coming from there.

AUTHOR COME HERE AND DRY MY TEARS! 😭 f*ck I'm a sea of tears, even though it only has a SINGLE chapter it still made me cry from the helplessness of not being able to protect the main character. Seriously the Omega deserved to be happy.

CAN'T FATE SEE THAT?! The protagonist despite knowing that his love will never be reciprocated, still watches over the happiness of his alpha even if the happiness is destined to with someone else 💔

Heartbreaking story! Made me wanna cry the MC is soooo pitiful and I just wanna know what his life is going to be next I just wish him peace and happiness no matter what. If you are one to want closure you might want to skip this one but it would be truly a loss!

Happy ending, although I just mtled it so I didn't understand quite a lot of things but no mistake after a lot of heartbreak the ML has accepted our MC :' (aaaaaaah chapter 14 of the third book if you will is the latest chapter
