Choi Seonwoo, the parish priest of Shindo Cathedral and an exorcist with special powers, receives an unusual request.

The plea is to save Seo Jihan, a grandson tormented by an oppressive spirit that’s slowly killing him.

After a successful exorcism, Choi Seonwoo takes in the at-risk Seo Jihan at the rectory to care for him. But Jihan, overwhelmed by what seems like a destined connection, starts developing feelings of love for Seonwoo.

Though Seonwoo initially pushes him away, the lock on his heart gradually loosens with time. Meanwhile, Jihan goes through various trials and learns how to live like a human being.

However, just when they believe their feelings are mutual, Seonwoo makes the decision to leave Jihan behind…

Seo Jihan stopped just as the fine downy hairs on his nose barely brushed against Seonwoo’s, their breaths mingling in the narrow space.

“But why is it that I can’t seem to see you, Father?”

Choi Seonwoo suddenly noticed how long and thick Jihan’s eyelashes were, casting shadows beneath his eyes. He also realized that behind the mask of this meek lamb was the seed of a coldhearted predator.
