The novel starts with an interesting premise, an exterminator in a new world trying to apply his talents. However, it then takes the most predictable turn that most Japanese isekai stories take - he rapidly levels up and gains the attention of every girl around him. The writing is very simple, the enemies aren't creative, and the plot is not particularly compelling.

This novel is getting harder to read as it progress.

The MC is soo annoying. Having too much stats and not wanting to fight just because he doesent know how to fight. Its like I dont want to punch him because I dont know boxing and maybe I can lose even with my insanse level and stats. Is s*upid anywhere you look at it.

... more>> Another Lazy MC that is a women magnet and and easy way weak to strong to op character.

This novel is a good read from the start type. Its only good from around 10-20 chapter only or more until the story or the writings decline. Good concept bad writing/storytelling. <<less

I didn't expect anything from this novel and I was right.

Unlike many isekai novel MC, this one is very carefree, but hard working ! Nice ? Yeah, well it would be if the hard working part was really hard working.

Why ?

MC use his common knowledge of his exterminator job, to wipe out groups of monsters (using a small monster he killed with poison to kill bigger monster who got posion by the poison meat of the small monster and die). Now he does it with not just one little... more>> monster, but a lot, a great lot. And for every "bigger" monster kill by eating the "small" monster which died by poison MC got EXP, and level up fast, like very fast, like in 3 months without getting out of town and killing a single monster in battle, his level is superior to the last hero who killed the demon king 300 years ago.

And that's not the worst part. Everytime he gain a level, he gains points. He can use them to level-up skills and by skills it's more like job proficiency (like pharmacology, Magic circle making, tailoring etc...)

In a few days he got from Level 1 in pharmacolocy to 5, shocking the 800 elf who spend lot and lot of years to get to level 5.

When she said that starting from level 5 pharmacology begin to be really difficult to improve, MC look at her, then put 5 points in the skill making it level 10. Infuriating the elf (What an A-hole...)

So, the MC doesn't even try hard, he just put stats points to progress. (but he IS dilligent when he is making stuff).

MC, is not interested in money, glory, and fighting, only discovering the world.

Now that would be good if the side characters weren't so bland. So we got a bland MC, bland side characters, and no sign of character development.

Every girl MC met and has a name is interested in MC but MC isn't. There is some talk about if MC or Side Character need relief thant they would do IT but nothing happen.

At chapter 25 I'd say this novel is boring. It doesn't make you want to know what happen next..

Seriously, move along, there are better novel out there like this one. Don't waste your time. <<less

Is there Romance/Harem? Nope none don't get your hopes up, though there are many female characters (an obsessive s*ave, bikini armored battle junkie, regrettable monster researcher, big b**bed sheep-girl) they are mostly just quirky characters no sign of romance whatsoever..

MC leveled-up way too fast as of ch56 he is already lvl95. He's pretty much OP but you'd rarely see him fight as he occasionally uses his tools to exterminate pests. So there is not much tension in the story. And as for the comedy there really isn't much or so to say I think there were times it tried to be funny but since it's overused it's not really that funny anymore.

The MC is mostly carefree and does what he wants to do put it in a more positive tone he's in control of his life, but the downside of this is his lack of ambition. He is true to his occupation as an exterminator as he takes on jobs to exterminate pests.

As far as I can remember correctly & simplified as some pests are renamed because it's another world, so far he has exterminated rats, c*ckroaches, wyverns, snow foxes, grizzly bear, zombies, etc. (Demon beasts)

Now for the main plot which was suddenly revealed I think it was around chapter 50, the MC now is starting his own company as an exterminator.

Well since I was reading a poorly mtl'd chapter the suddenness of the plot was shocking as I couldn't even grasp it properly as the pace was too fast. In a short summary, Get to a port city to repair their ship -> Go to inn -> Find job -> Go to a brothel -> Heal a prostitute -> Get Panties -> Go to church->Wear Panties on Head->Talk to God & Evil God->Get Main Quest from both

Some things are too weird for me so I'd probably wait for the translator to catch up as maybe I was just misunderstanding something since I've read a mtl.. But for now I'd give it a 3 star. 5 at the start but starts to go down fast after meeting with another transported person. <<less

I like this story. Easy to read. The MC is not into violence. Find different ways to handle what would be battle events. I am curious if someone as creative will try to capture him. Though he’s very smart the complexity might increase as the story continues. I feel this story can bring a different pace to the usual battle grind novels. I would like to read more of it.

More like a summary rather than a full story:

After reading the first few chapters of the manga I was hooked and wanted to read it's source material the WN.

The MC is hopelessly OP which wouldn't really be that much of a problem if the rest was funny but after a little while the support characters reactions towards him simply become repetitive as hell. I like the idea that the MC is planning on discovering the world at least.

So now to the worst part of the WN and the reason that... more>> I rated it so lowly: the writing. If I didn't know better I would have thought that I was reading a summary of the WN's individual chapters and not the WN itself. I don't know why you would choose to do that but I can't find enjoyment in those short sentences devoid of any emotion. It is actually the first time, with the exception of some NTR WN, that I prefer the manga over the WN, it's source material. <<less

As you can imagine by the amount of releases (8 at the moment of this review), there isn't much to go on about, so I'll keep it simple.

tl;dr : Might be worth a shot if you enjoy slice-of-life with a good pacing.

Story:

It is an easy-going slice of life, so I'm not expecting great fight sequences nor complex plotlines. What I'm looking for is (i) nice character interactions, (ii) good world building and nice plot, and, if the author is going for a great (not good) work, character development. Don't... more>> get me wrong, I enjoy fight sequences and a complicated plots, and so on, but these things are not what I'm looking for in a So, with that out of the way,

For now, the story seems to go along fine. Although I feel like there's a prologue chapter missing. So, for the first few chapters (3-4), one might feel somewhat lost, as there was little effort made into introducing the environment before we are thrust into the plot (not "plot" mind you). The pacing is still a little unstable, it feels like the author is going for a fast-paced slice of life, but sometime the author goes slightly too fast.

Similarly, it feels like the author is skimping a bit on the world building, but I'm under the impression that this will be fixed in a few chapters, which is nice as I don't personally enjoy the obligatory info-dump chapters that most authors put right at the beginning of the novel, it makes me more invested in the work before having to process a lot of information.

Character Interactions:

it is still to early to talk about the relations between characters, which is the core of a good slice of life. However, the signs have been good until now: nobody fell in love with the MC so far and, going by the style, it seems if someone does fall in love, it won't be without a reason. On the MC side, there are no telltale signs of a dense protagonist (also good). Finally, the interactions so far are nice, specially the s*aves. Although we hadn't had time to see any relevant character development, there were a few well-put foreshadows.

Translation:

The quality is good. Few mistakes and weirdly worded sentences are not frequent. Most importantly, it is easy to understand what is going on, which is (for me) the sign of a good translation.

The translator seems to be going for 2-3 releases per week, which is a good pace.

For now, I'll stick with this novel and see where it is going, and, if you enjoy a good fast-paced light-hearted slice of life, it might be worth giving a shot. I'm not saying it is there yet, but I think it might. <<less

This novel is:

Mature MC with easy going tendency

MC that angry as he need, realistically cool headed like some wise oldman take vacation doing business.

The companion changes all the time as he cherish encounter but never try to keep any deeper relationship more than just a friend or colleagues.

If you're looking for great action or very clever MC with plenty sceming etc. Go look elsewhere.

This novel are for people who appreciate slow live and enjoying encounter as the smooth slice of life happen on scene.

Unlike other Japanese novels that I had read, this novel was more carefree and yet with a tone of corruptions and chaos in the background. I don't know if this was just my imagination or not but as of now, at chapter 22, there is a couple of foreshadowing that I'd noticed.

Similar to Death March but without all the "Harem-Style" MC. And if I was to recommended this novel then, Yes. Read it to chapter 10 or so to see if you guys and girls like it.

The story so far... more>> wasn't dark but it does have a foreshadowing of it. And it was very free-styling-so-of feeling to it. <<less

Quite interesting and funny. The MC is OP without battle skills, but he didn't always resort to violence. Well the MC is really mysterious, former pest control in the former world and now works as a pest control in another world. With his friends, he solve most problems in any country. Some review said the MC is just like any other OP MC, standard chick magnet. I havent found a slightest romance in here nor harem. The story is light, easy to read with a little slice of life. Doesn't... more>> took many details like Magi Craft Meister or Some novels that rambles with our world knowledge. For me, this is a fine LN.

I read the raws, the characters was loveable. The story flows was good enough. The translator was good enough. <<less

A robot must have written this novel and uploaded it to this site to see how it would affect people. Extreme robot is a MC. An extremely ridiculous world with an extremely ridiculous level system. The monsters are so poison resistant that they die against the rat poison. No vanavar has a stomachache and they die. MC becomes level 38 in 10 days due to monsters eating poisonous corpses in the jungle. I think in the future he will kill with dragon vs venom. A good example of a story where the MC ends up in a harem heaven, but quite literally just wants to do his work and live a nice life. You might think of this as a boring setup, but this story manages to make really good use of the typically absurd isekai side characters and the MC seems like a rather smart guy who goes with the flow without getting absorbed by it.

This story contains an OP main character to keep it funny and light-hearted, enough fantasy material to keep... more>> your imagination running, enough women and suggestive material to keep your imagination running in a different way, enough action to make the world seem active and enough travelling to make it seem like the story goes somewhere. Yet none of these things are exaggerated and the author knows how to cut a joke that's getting too old. Also, most of the characters (with a few comical relief exceptions) are rather mature and the typical "oh I'm 30 or so years but I act like the 14 y/o kid I am" isekai plague is avoided.

The story hasn't gone very far yet and I can't really say this is the best thing I've ever read, but I'm definitely looking forward to seeing what the author can come up with in the future. <<less

A lazy exterminator who doesnt want to do adventurer's work has to be efficient and smart to work less and live lazily. The strongest slow travel life of a lazy bum who doesnt want to keep any s*ave for long.

He got s*ave? He release!

Current s*ave: a head maid with the disposition of a s*ave.

Current companion: an ex-guild-instructor adventurer in bikini armor

Release s*aves: a potential magician who get sponsored into magic school in Capital, and a beastman who get sponsored into a gravekeeper for the starting town.

OK let's write a review not for the not pickers but for the isekaiers... This novel starting plot is the usual, waking up disoriented, after beig "spirited away" no human or divine intervention, probably a rift is the space time, if you wanna try to make heads or tails from it.

Then in just 4-7 short chPters hhis level is in the triple digits and his stats are well into the 4/5 digits iirc... Meaning the usual... meet the girls, blah blah blah.... Now... Here is the twist... Like someone already... more>> said, this dude, dont wanna fight, not because of fear or bc he is a wimp... He simply dont wanna fight bc he "is not a fighter" o at least that is the premise, pretty lackadaisical but yeah... Now that is the setting, with the same very predictability of any other slow life isekai, not a single major bad guy or the like... Now... Somewhere around the c40 or so... They author turns MC into a bonafide pe*vert... Panties on head kind of a thing... At which point any sane reader goes.... "OK... That escalated quickly outta nowhere"

moving along the guy essentially goes from exterminating pests to exterminating heroes... By requests of the 2 pillar gods of that world...

the speed of the plot is breath taking, too fast, massive plot holes, author no willing to try hard enough...

Is one of those title u wanna read to take a break between novels or just when u have nothing else to read, is not really any breathtaking development.... <<less

MC basically has no goal he got isekaid and he accepted it as if nothing changed. It

Ok, so far this novel story is kinda not the usual isekai stuff which makes this novel decreasing it's quality. At first, the background story of the MC were kinda standard employee of japan as pest exterminator. He was been transported to another world and obtain the usual isekai cheat abilities. However, in exchange of world building, the author were somehow decide to fasten story in a certain degree. The things that everybody notice is that the MC were leveling too fast by a certain number of chapters and surprisingly... more>> the MC is kinda strange/awkward towards women especially when his two female companions (the red hair ponytail girl and the scientist/researcher girl) were trying to give their body towards MC during their journey. Yet, MC were declined with an excuse of not crossing the line unless they are in love. Surprisingly, the MC was a hypocrite to the level his urges were not able to hold any longer in resulting going to the Red Light District where lust things took place and it didn't end well. His urges was wasted and going to the Red Light district was a fail which he was labeled as a pe*verted man. A truly disappointing MC <<less

It started off okay, with an interesting exterminator premise. However, the writing is just too simple and lacks the detail necessary to make reader interest last. MC has no emotions or goals or desires, and comes off like some sort of do-gooder robot sociopath. I was unable to keep reading, but if this is your thing you may get some sort of enjoyment out of it.

MC is your typical limpd*ck humble beta male who's the strongest being ever by the end of the first volume. The whole pest extermination thing goes out the window quickly too. Despite having multiple women throw themselves at him, he makes some humble beta noises and rejects them so he can try to go to a brothel (which he also chickens out of). Not worth reading.

Pretty interesting start. The MC just does what he wants at the first few chapters. He's also not dense so that's a plus but he doesn't make moves towards girls. His priority is do what he wants at the time he wants. Strong magic user MC but instead of normal magic, he uses magic circles.

I don't really recommend it but it's a good read. It may seem like I'm contradicting myself but I like it because of my tastes.
