OK cultivation/system novel with disturbing consent issues.

Docked one point because the story was mediocre and another bc the consent issues made me cringe.

I think it was supposed to be consensual and fluffy, but it didn't come across this way.

The MC never initiated anything s*xual and kept saying stuff like "no" and "please stop" etc.

The ML was very demanding when it came to s*x. Like telling the MC to give him a bj, yet never reciprocating. Why??? He would probably like one too!

I adored this story <3 Jiyuan's icy acting but internal freaking out is never not cute haha. I loved that from the outside, it would have seemed to be an icy beauty gradually melting and warming up to become cute and spoiled. When in reality, Jiyuan's true personality was just slowly slipping out. Ye Junchi is also adorable. He love love loves our Yuanyuan so much and pampers him a lot.

Aside from the adorable sweetness that is their interactions, I did enjoy the plot as well. There was an array... more>> of interesting side characters like the MiaoMiao and Yuncheng, although they weren't the most fleshed out. I did thoroughly enjoy reading this though.

it was ok but I didn’t understand the charm of both characters. I still didn’t know who JY was neither felt he is anything special. So I didn’t feel any chemistry between both. The story was ok, bit boring though as there been nothing new.

It's a bundle of fluffiness with a tad bit of plot.

The characters are all lovely. The MC has a fun personality, so when he transmigated to the body of a cross-dressing man in ancinet times of a cultivation world, all the while maintaining a facial paralysis due to the system restrictions, his inner bickering with the system turned more and more hilarious.

The only downside is the fact that maybe, because he started off acting as a girl, later on when he stopped dressing as a girl, I still couldn't picture him as the cold beauty of a man in my mind. That's pretty disturbing.

The ML is actually a scarred puppy in the packaging of a shameless rascal. He's simply precious. He kind of give me the impression as a gong (seme) version of Wei WuXian from the Founder of Diabolism haha.

The author actually make an amazing personality for the system too. 'He' started off as a cold AI that got more and more amusing as 'he' developed human's emotions.

The plot feels like it was only there for the purpose of making the MC and the ML stay together and the conflict is actually solved quite easlily by the ML OP-ness.

In tune with the title, there are bunch of teasings. Be careful not to get diabetess! Oh, and the hamster from the novel cover represents the ML eating the seed that represents the MC XD <<less

This novel is really one of my favorites. One of the best things in this novel would be the ML. He's really sweet and cheesy haha but his cheesiness is just appropriate and cute so it's okay. Next would be the MC. The MC is really smart and rational. He knows how to twist his ways to avoid OOC that would benefit him. And the System. My gaahd it's the best system out of all the transmigration novels that I read (007 to be the next) haha.

Started reading due to great reviews. Really love the story. It's not your typical rebirth plot that's what makes it worth reading. Plus all that fluff. And a System that I want as BFF (then we can bully MC together). Haha... I really want to give more flowery praise but it's 5.30am and im still awake. T.T I have 2 heavy financial subjects to study by today. That's how good this story is. It keep me captivated. Thanks, Iambanana for translating. I have other novels I wanted to read raw... more>> but is there anyway an app or something that can read out the Chinese words? Just wondering bcuz I can understand Chinese but couldn't read it. Done reading this novel!!!!

I loved the relationships between characters, loved the comedy, wasn't boring or exaggerated

The mystery made it more cool we can say!

ML is patient, he's good, THE translator is awesome, I loved her note throughout the novel (some pictures went lost :___)) (I love pictured examples and memessss awwww)

This was a light read with a transmigration system, comedy, mystery, and cultivation. It is a nice book to read on a rainy day to brighten up your mood. Character interactions were realistic and felt natural. The relationship between Ji Yuan & Ye Yunchi was really sweet & the pacing of it felt level. The system in the novel was actually entertaining & it was fun to see the evolution of its "personality" throughout the novel. The bantering between the system 2333 & Ji Yuan was enjoyable. Each character had... more>> their own unique personality, however the focus remained on Ji Yuan & Ye Yunchi for the duration of the story. Ji Yuan was an interesting character to follow, he became stronger as the story progressed & was quite funny. Ye Yunchi has the stereotypical demon lord who is OP role, however the story really pulls off his character well. He has quite a well thought out backstory. He's really soft & is protective towards Yi Yuan. The overall plot was enjoyable enough to read, but it was not anything too over the top or too dramatic. Overall, the world building in this story was could have been a bit more fleshed out. The emphasis of the story was placed on the mystery & romance, which is fine but in the end I did want to learn more about how the cultivation worked in this particular world. Cultivation felt like it was just added to the world, it did not really feel like it was truly a part of it due to the lack of information. The ending of the book was very abrupt. The extras helped fill in some of the remaining holes, but it would have been nice if it was just a bit longer. But all in all, it was a good read, and I recommend it! :D <<less

It started off really good but tbh I don't think that it's that good of a read bcz you'll only get only fluff (there's some fluff to every chapter if I think about it) but there's actually nothing to the story in fact there's no action and almost half of the novel MC was a damsel in distress even after he gained cultivation ML always did everything for him so no action from either ML or MC it seemed bland if I say truthfully.

Ok, after reading numerous transmigration novels I conclude 2333 is the best system. I like how 2333 started cold, strict and smart and later became soft-hearted. It had been smart when MC was being a fool and kindly (yes very kindly hehe) pointed that out. And it is sarcastic. It is smarter than MC. And more humane than many humans. The conversations between MC and the system had my favourite scenes.

Yes, ML is extremely touchy. But MC never showed any real resistance to it and kinda enjoyed it so I... more>> won't be prickly about it. Just happy to read any novel that doesn't have r*pe. ML is really warm to MC, no doubt. But we look at MC from ml's pov. An expressionless vase. He rarely speaks. Rarely shows emotions. How did he fall in love with his MC? Idk. <<less

I read this novel in other platform on my native language and I must say its a laugh from chapter 1 till ending chapter. This Novel comedy is almost on par (if not funnier) with C*pper C*ins, hahahahahaaa.

The plot is simple and not so much angst (except when We learn about the Devil's past, I must say its a bit sad... Also the Shou's past about his lil bro, I shed tears a bit, just a lil bit), the rest is laugh party. It's Shounen-ai, a lot touch touch and... more>> so much sugar but nothing too graphic since.. well maybe the censorship.

The System is the one make everything hillarious here. The Gong is... well Devilish "kind", the Shou is funny. Sad story about him too.

If you want a light Novel, short chapter and funny to relieve your stress, I recommend this one. But if you looking for plot twist angst and heavy stuff, then this might not satisfy you.

not bad. I kind of like the characters especially the male lead cause he seems really nice and not the overbearing and r*pey type even though hes the demon lord. I also like it that the reason why he unknowingly have feelings for the MC is not because of his character setting but the real sides that he show at times (to prevent OOC).

in the end the thing that I like the most is the MC succeeding in completing his tasks so he could act freely and be himself with... more>> the ML. Though I feel that the backstory of the MC can be elaborated a little more or that the MC tell the ML about what he have went through.

apparently both the MC and ML agreed to tell each other about their past but only the ML did. The MC hesitated and end up not saying (till the end of the story) for some reason.

It was an average read and since i've decided to be strict with rating so I gave it 3 stars rather than my usual 4 stars. But by no-means do 3 stars mean its bad!

The start was really strong and hilarious! It was giving me strong Perfect Destiny and Reborn as my Love Rival's wife vibes and I was really enjoying it! But not only the hilarious comedy came to a stop later, the action and drama that replaced it was bland. The romance was kinda cute tho.

The ML was typical dominant, doting ML but thank the heavens he was not r*pey and forceful.I totally loved how he teased the MC so much, too bad he stopped later on. His attitude towards the MC with I will try my best to make you like me gave me butterflies! But it was just never revealed why he fell in love with the MC and so the chemistry between them just felt lacking!

Butttt kudos to the author, for making the ML fall in love with the real MC rather than his acting.I'm so glad the ML fell in love with the MC's real self he showed on various occasions rather than the cold outer shell acting the MC was putting on and the action he did due to system orders.I always wonder, for the MLs who fall in love in such a way, do they really love the MC or do they love the persona the MC has made?Like is that even loving the MC himself?I'm so glad that it was shown not only thru ML's perspective but also the system pointed out that the ML loved the MC's real self not his body not his acting!

The system was a nice baby but damn he should've been given more lines!Even though he was strict with some things but damnnn he gave the MC a LOT of concessions! So he was very likeable to say! His interactions with the MC were always a treat to read but they were so less going forward!

The character backstory of the two mains was just ok or just call it bland. No matter how much feels the author wanted me to feel, I just had a poker face while reading. There wasn't any side character that was explored deeply which is such a shame too.

There is a big mystery to solve in the plot but worry not its totally secondary to romance so enjoy the fluff!

All in all, its a good read and light read to pass time! <<less

The story a teensy bit of gender bender misunderstanding then goes to collecting clues while meeting side characters kind of plot. The good thing for me is the MLs patience to earn MCs love, kinda sweet so yeah, read it all in one go its nice <<less

I should say that I honestly enjoyed this novel. Felling contented... Would reccomend everyone to admire it.

In fact, it gives really refreshing feeling among that standard cultivation novels. I'm not saying it doesn't follow patterns, like, for example, a detective plot, but still, quite novel.

  • The relationship is sweet, with a little bit of bitterness, but that is just complements the whole picture. There is no awfully awkward fluff, and the story is not going down on the road of a foolish comedy - just a well written love development.
  • No attention to cultivation! That's so good to read - no levels, no breakthroughs, no sects (almost), no other stuff - just a simple pattern of people being powerfull or weak. Finally the novel that gives an exampleヾ (^ω^*)
  • This talks between system and MC - in most of the novels they are giving me a headache - so overbearing or s*upid - fortunately this one is an exception, staying in a golden middle.
There is one minus though... As a fellow fujoshi, I found the intimacy is on unacceptable low level!!!!!!!
