When I wrote this review, there were no others for me to refer to. The simple sypnosis and the intriguing title were what drew me to this story - not to mention how short it seemed to be. In the end, I didn’t regret my choice at all. This was a very nice and thought provoking read.

To summarise the story, it’s a very short work, the entire thing probably the length of a normal chapter in other books. The writing is rather concise. Line breaks are present after every sentence.... more>> The story describes the life of a person whose environment twisted his character, who kills to protect, who lives a life by his values, but never achieves happiness. Or rather, he did obtain happiness, the chance to return to an ordinary life, but each time, it was cruelly snatched away. The ending is rather sad, but it matches the theme. I liked it. Short and sweet, this story was. Try it. I hope you’ll enjoy it.

As you can see, my writing style is rather dry. I’m not very into heavy descriptions and enchanting lines of art. I apologise if it makes you uncomfortable.
