Hans returns to his hometown after 20 years to help with his family’s farm, prompted by his father’s severe back injury.

When he arrives, he finds his childhood friends all married with kids, the village completely changed, his parents aged, and his own embarrassing past mysteriously well-known. The 20 years that have passed brought changes beyond Hans’ imagination.

As Hans grapples with this, further trials await him.

“So what, you ask?! Do you want to die?!”

The weeds spread deathly screams, pests multiply a hundredfold overnight, and any missed extermination of wild beasts puts his life in danger. Each misstep leads to chaos, and Hans cries out in despair:
